reset garage door remote tutorial

My hardwired wall button has a blinking yellow light and will not open or close my garage door. The remotes work fine, and my wireless unit on the outside of my garage works fine. I tried to replace the wall button with another lift master wall button and that did not work either. Any suggestions?

@@terriewyatt1311 Ordered a replacement wall control button (#882LMW). It arrives on 9/24/24. Check with me again in a fews days and i’ll let you know if it works for me. Mine was fast blinking yellow light. There is a slower blinking yellow light that means something else is the issue.

@@terriewyatt1311 New wall control button came in and I installed it. Easy job. Wall button works again! 👍 Note: when uninstalling the old button….remove the one screw then grab the whole switch, lift upwards slightly before pulling it from the wall. If you look at the back of the new switch, you will see how to remove the old one.

Good info but still, what do you do if the wall control is not working? Neither is the remote.

Mine is kept on blinking and non of the button react. The lock and the learn did not respond to me pressing or holding. What could be the issue? Is the smart panel bad?

John Phans,yes it’s fixed you are going to have to order a new wall button. Cost about 50.00 . Hope it fixes yours..

My remote blinks constantly tried to press unlock and won’t stop blinking, it doesn’t let my garage door work either, my remotes work fine as well as my keypad. I had a power outage and I think it damaged my wall mount control. I ordered a new one, hopefully it fixes the problem, do run into this problem?

I'm having that issue. It's a slower blink than in this video. I can raise & lower the garage door from the buttons on the unit, but not the remote

I am on the opposite. The remove is working fine except for the wall mount control. Ebay has one but its almost have the price of the whole unit. Anyone know where we can get a cheap one?.@@hotchkissrecords
