In most videos I saw, none of them tells you that the door has to be closed in order for you to get the TRIP menu with key in Position 1!!!!! Wish someone would say that! But otherwise this video is helpful!

I have a 09 C300 4matic, i tried this 4 times and it did nothing; make sure the key is in the 1st detent, then press ok jus aft the call button, then it worked, was frustrating for a bit, jus keep trying like i did. Hope it wrks out 4 u

Most people don't read the owner's manual to keep up on their car's recommended service. Sort of like we as people at certain ages, it is recommended to get certain things done and go in to get a check up. What service A, B, etc does is the mechanic does what is needed to be done on your car so you aren't driving around and all of a sudden something goes wrong, THEN you bring your car in at an inconvenient time, get it towed and so on. It is being proactive. service A is NOT just an oil change, it is WAY more than that. A Mercedes does not only just need an oil change once every 10 k miles , it's not just a basic car. paying 200-300 a year on maintaining your Benz is really not that much money if you want to keep it running. When people go about getting things done the cheap way, then the results are as such. Plus most places you would get that service done offer loaners and valet service so why not take advantage of that.

Doesn't work on a UK spec 2008 C180 Kompressor. Goes to trip reset every time.

Because you need to press ok first, for miles to appear. The same happened to me 😉

Yeah I found that, but if you hold the ok button for about six seconds whilst holding the phone button that menu comes up. Cheers Glen
