So that means it's not really reading your oil level if you have to manually reset it. Because I just got my Cadi, got the 1st change and it still said oil level at 10percent

After you reset it to 100%, I think the computer reads and calculates the pattern of your driving (stop-n-go, mileage, heat), not the actual quality level of the oil.

It's best to use the oil recommended by the manufacturer of your car. The computer in your car calculates when to change the oil based on your driving pattern, assuming that you use correct oil in the engine. But if you use a different oil, the computer will not work correctly.
