Thanks for posting. This is great! I picked up my RP in December and love it. I’ve been riding it hard. Long rides touring and trails. I was shocked what the dealer wanted for the 6K mile service cuz it’s really just an oil change and some basic common sense checking things are in order. There’s not much online for maintenance videos. Please post more as you work on your bike. It’s really helpful. Thanks a ton!

Worked great! I hope they come up with something to change the tpms sensor pressures. I put knobbies on immediately, and they run way lower pressure than stock. I like being able to see the pressures, but the constant warnings are annoying.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s one thing to get a warning when you first start the bike… I don’t need it to go remind me every few minutes. Not sure what they were thinking.

Thanks for the video. I ordered that hardware piece. Didn't realize that the app didn't come with it until I had it all connected. I bought it for $12 on Play Store while standing next to the bike. My nearest dealer was actually telling me if they didn't do the service, they couldn't reset the light. So this kept me from having to look at the wrench until 12,000 miles. Much appreciated.

@@BlueADV214 Thanks again!! Gave you your first like, hopefully you will get lots and lots of views, this is a very popular bike. I'm planning trading my Triumph Tiger 1050 sport, I'm soon to be buying the last of the Kawasaki ZZ-R 1400's ( ZX 14, still available in the US). I had planned to keep the 1050 for the Twisties and a more daily ride, but the duality of the 900 rally makes more sense, especially living in Scotland where we have such a varied selection of roads/tracks. All the best for 2021, I've a feeling it's going to be tougher than 2020?

Thanks for the video, do you have information on how to activate the cruise control on the Triumph 900 rally pro (2023)?
@BlueADV214 Жыл бұрын
It should come from the dealer ready to go. Turn On: Set / Set Speed: Set / Increase/Decrease Speed: +/- / Resume: Res…. Rolling throttle forward past the stop, using the brakes, and pulling in the clutch will all disengage the cruise.

Thanks. A great help as I do all my own servicing too. Do you know of a way to adjust the set point on the tyre pressure monitoring? I swapped the deadly Metzler's for Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2's before riding it out of the shop. But as I ride one up with no luggage 90% of the time I want to lower the set point as the tyre pressure warning light comes on at far too high pressure, in my opinion, and I'm riding around with it on all the time
@BlueADV2144 жыл бұрын
Great question... short answer is I don’t know. I asked the dealer if they could adjust when the low fuel warning comes on and was told they can’t. If my future experience shows a way, you can bet I’ll make another video.

Can you use this to unlock some more HP and perhaps fuel economy. (For one year of ownership Im getting 38 mpg (2023 900 RP) while most everybody else getting about 50mpg. I have all the required items as you've stated, just wondering 1. can I tuneECU for better fuel economy and also, can I get the new 2024 increased HP etc?).
@BlueADV21410 ай бұрын
Sounds like it may be something to talk to the dealership about. I don't know anything about editing fuel/air maps and would refer that to a shop with a dynamometer and specialized equipment/training. And any increase in HP usually comes at the expense of MPG... just saying. In my opinion, the bike doesn't need more HP; it needs more torque on the ground and less weight overall. The weight of the bike/rider/luggage/etc. is all going to that little contact point on the rear tire and for off-road, that's a small area that the tire just spins on without more torque and tire contact (tread dependent). I would gladly take this bike with half the cc's... A Tiger 450 or 500 with a slightly smaller fuel tank would be awesome.

Hi, The Fog light on the GT pro or Rally pro sold in the US or Canada won't turn on when on high beam. Can you in the OBD system change this, in Europe they can have high beam and fog light on. Was wondering if you saw any option in the OBDII menu of your bike to change it with the OBD link lx tool.

Long story, but I have a 2020 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. My goal is not to reset service lights, nor is it to re-map the ECU for fueling. My primary objective is to read and re-set error codes. However, as I search the TuneECU website, the adjustments for this moto are as follows: reset engine adaptions, throttle position sensor adjustment, reset service interval, TPMS, reset gear position, reset shift force, crankshaft position adaption. Thus, it appears as though reading and re-setting error codes is not part of the software. Am I reading this correctly?

Hey, I apologize… There seems to be some issues finding the app. I see others are also having this problem. The TuneECU website says that it has to be downloaded from tuneecu.fr I don’t have any knowledge of where to go from there; I still have the app I downloaded last year. I am getting ready to do a service on my bike including motor oil, fork oil/dust seal and oil replacement, progressive springs from Touratech/Hyperpro, as well as resetting “the wrench”. I’m hoping to have a good video to of all this and will look into the app issue before I post. Unfortunately, fork oil seals are a month and a half out… and yet still no aftermarket seal choice (OEM only for many of the parts on this bike; slightly upsetting). I hope you’ll return for this video and wish you luck in the meantime.

No. There is a small one-time fee that I paid. Not sure, but there are a couple of choices on their app depending on what your intent for use is. Individuals should be able to connect up to five different bikes, while the "pro" version is limitless. I don't work for them, nor am I sponsored; so that information is subject to change.
