Thanks, but you should have mentioned that this should be done while the car is not started. Put the fob in and then hit the start button without turning it the vehicle on. Also you should mention your year and model. On the 2006 325i there is no RESET, INIT is there instead. Same steps however.

Hey for you guys that couldn't find the reset button on the bc button I have a 335d msport e90 2007 plate and my tyre pressure reset is in the idrive I pressed I then went to vehicle/tyres then flat tyre monitor and pressed confirm tyre pressure after I had put air in at 35psi front and 40psi rear on 235 / 18 inch tyres none run flat - error has now gone :)

I had the issue Lebnaan had today as well, tyre pressue on 1 rear tyre was lower that it should have been so I put air in and reset the TPMS so far so good, apparently snow and icy driving confitions can cause this fault

Does anyone else's warning light come on whenever the tyres get changed? I've got the warning light now after 2 new rear tyres. Had exactly the same thing 2 months ago when the fronts were changed and I put my old summer tyres on the rear as well🙄 Got the dealer to reset last time but I'll just do this now (hopefully it works)

Wondering if I could get some help. When I scroll down and the TPSM and then hold the BC buttong, it says resetting right above where it says reset. I don't get the little check mark or anything at all. If I drive the car then the light still stays one. I have the tire pressure set correctly as well.

h1ghland3r yeah it reset itself after driving it for a mile or two. It should turn off, if it doesn’t you need more air

I had this popped up today when i was driving in the snow from nowhere and it just popped up and i got scared and pulled over and looked at the tires and they were hard as rocks but took no chanses and went to a gas station and refilld the tires with the right amount of air and it didnt show up again do you know what it could be? im worried now because the car stands in the garage and i dont know if i will have a flat tire in the morning :( does it have to do something with snow??

My dashboard doesnt say "RESET" it says "INIT" but it does the same thing. No more tire pressure warning.

Can anyone answer my question? I just brought a 08 550i an my TPS is on same symbol as this video. When I go to my setting on my dash board computer the TPS option is there but isn’t highlighted to hit. Like it won’t let me open it up, to reset it. Why is this all my tires are on point. Same air pressure

+Mark Chapman Some BMW e90s don't come with tyre pressure sensors. If you are using run-flat tyres, then you are likely to have the sensors pre-installed.

I know its late but for the sake of others who might read this, did you change the alloys? Alloys may need TPMS fitted to them. If they are not present then this may be your issue. Just for context, I have the same problem. I asked the guy that fitted my new alloys to fit TPMS but he said BMW don't use them, so he didn't fit them. Ever since then I have the flat tire symbol

katie sale hi there. Open your drivers door and look at a plaque with tire pressures on there. That’s where it’s located on my car. Hope this helps

Dave Race​​​ Dean Persano​​​. Thank you dean. I found the reset button in idrive as well eventually then drove around the block slow to reset. Then would come back on after a few days. Took to big o tires and informed me the batter my on the tire sensor is going out. Switch out and working ever since. Battery life on those sensors are 5 years
