I think you can add doing everything that can distract you from your reset the day before. For example, doing your meals, making the alarms when to start and when to finish. I treat it as being a secretary the day before and being the boss on the day of reset!!!

Nice idea! 💪💜 Get the side-questing out of the way so it doesn't distract you come main-mission time 😝

One way I'm making my reset a little easier is batching similar tasks. For example, do everything that requires me to be on the computer or making all the calls at the same time. That way I'm not wasting time wandering back and forth for several tasks.

Great video Jess. I always try and do an inbox zero every day, and it's now so much of a habit that I find it natural to do it after dinner while watching youtube. My monthly reset is as basic as possible, I don't do reflection as I'm struggling with my mental health really badly and anything negative sends me spiralling right now :(

That sounds tough, I can see why you'd avoid it 💜 awesome about the inbox zero habit though! I need to make mine more habitual 👏

Jess, thank you for this video so appreciated ❤. Do you have a video about that email automation process?
@JashiiCorrin
@JashiiCorrin Жыл бұрын
I don't, just as there are a lot of different email services out there, but to find out how to do it, I would Google something like "set up automatic filters for [email service]", e.g. "set up automatic filters for Gmail" or "set up automatic filters for Outlook"

How do you automate the email? Do you happen to have a video on that? It sounds so useful

I don’t have a video on that one, just because people use different email services so it would be a little bit niche, but you can find out how to filter your emails by doing a quick google search of “filter emails for [your email service]” or “sort emails for [Your email service]” 😄💜 hope that helps!

That video is awesome, thank you so much! I don't do a monthly reset (I'm a weekly kind of girl, or everything becomes unmanageable), and still, every single advice/technique in here will be extremely useful. You're really really good at that! If you're considering to detail in a future video how you manage lists to make them less overwhelming, like you do here for your reset list, I would be very interested. It looks like you distribute the tasks by theme? Or I'm not sure, it just looks like you have a really efficient technique. I know you do a brain dump, and I know that you do mental maps (that's how we call in french that kind of arborescence I've seen you do in other videos, I don't know if my translation is right), but I've not been able to do it successfully, so yeah, I'd love a more in depth explanation of that. Or maybe I've missed a passed video about it? Anyway, a 1000 thanks, you're wonderful, as always!

Glad you liked the video! 😄💜 And for sure, love that the tips are transferable 🥳 I don't currently have a video about making a regular task list more manageable, but I'll add it to my list 😈

i really want to get into bullet journaling...any tips?

Find a notebook you enjoy (doesn’t have to be pricy, just functional) and a pen and get going. I keep mine minimalist with my calendar and checklist but don’t be afraid to experiment. Ultimately this journal is yours so have fun and don’t let it be stressful for you.

My biggest tip is, start with videos by Ryder Caroll before anyone else. He is the inventor or the Bullet Journal (and the method behind it obv). He keeps it simple and clean, minimalist. After you get the hang of how YOU want to use the method, branch out into other KZbin people's takes on it or just completely make it your own.
