Reset Your Crock Pot--Don't Throw it Away!

Still have my original round Crock Pot from around 1994 or '95 it still works no digital operation but still works great. Have a larger oval HB digital fuzzy logic one, it too has been around since about 2014 or so. Yup don't throw them away. If it does permanently conk out take it to a recycling facility and keep it out of the land fill. Great to see a post from LordCryptid, you haven't been seen for awhile. Happy New year to you and the family.

Nope, did not work on ours at all. It started cycling through all lights eventually, however still has flashing light. the website mentions if it does that, it needs repair. Another you tube video also says the same thing, but for ours, not working. Neat video.

Bummer that it was not successful. They are not too expensive, but it would have been nice to have a quick fix.

Different brands sometimes only need power or select button held, not both.

Hello everyone! I have a slightly different model with the same problem. My issue is resolved by holding down the "cook time" button for quite a while (until the blinking red light turns into a solid red light). Hope this helps someone.

Nope. I have that same model. It started fast-flashy-blinking last time I used it and I 'reset' it by accident. Today, it started the cycle like normal and in the middle of a nice pot roast, it stopped cooking and did the fast-flashy-blinking, and would not reset. This seems to be normal for this model. I miss my old Rival Crock Pot with the twisty knob.

I now have to do this every time I use my crock pot, sometimes two or three times until the fix sticks. Anybody know what causes this?

Simplicity is better. The 1960's-80's models with a replaceable rotary switch is superior. I have no idea why the company would go to this design.
