Hey I don't know if you answered comments but it would be cool if you could explain. I thought you could not wall to your town center because the enemy can just walk right through your town center.

Connecting your walls against scouts is good because they can run past without taking damage pretty easily. Against archers, your opponent will take too many losses if they dive early and you garrison your TC so it will probably not be worth it for them.
