What a good reminder to take a critical look at your routines and remember the why. I’m really struggling to determine what I need exactly but I know that calm and content are the end results I’m looking to find. Checking my phone all too often is a big issue. It’s not how I want to spend time that is precious. Time to develop some rituals and strategies that will serve me!

I'm sad we're at the end of the chaos to calm challenge but I'm grateful for all the nuggets and perspectives you've shared along the way, Jules! Loved the openness about decision fatigue and recognition of that exhaustion. Cheers!

I can't WAIT to set up my phone to support the flow of my days! I'm someone who needs the routine to fit weekends AND weekdays, otherwise I find it hard to stick to. There isn't really a clear delineation for weekends in my life because work is flexible and if I'm feeling off on a Thursday I'll just take that day instead and push my workday to Saturday! Thanks for the lovely challenge content ^.^

It’s so important for us creatives to have some FEEL good routines throughout the day… I’ve recently been also focusing on 5-6 non-negotiable things I feel would move the dial forward in my business by being consistent. At the end, you talked about your calendar. Do you have a video on the consistent things you do to grow your business? This videos have been truly inspiring! Thanks for creating!

this chaos to calm challenge has been so eye opening. I always hear “morning routines” & I just think, what habits can I stack together to be the most productive. but thinking about how I want to feel instead of what I should do is something I’m now going to move to. Thank you Jules Acree

The “to don’t” list concept is super impactful! For a chronic over-doer, it’s always easy to pile up my morning routine with tons of actions and habits that quickly become unrealistic. I have an easier time scaling back. Thank you for another great video! ✨

I absolutely love your suggestion of including my routines in my calendar. I am SO big on using my Google calendar for events and work related stuff, but not once did I think about including my routines in it. I honestly think that I'll be able to follow through and stick to my routines by doing that since my Google calendar is like a feel good check list for me!

I LOVE the idea of the morning “to don’t” list and the personalized morning routine focus within the iPhone. I think those are two brilliants ways to make our morning routine a little easier 😊 I’m such a sucker for the snooze button in the morning when I KNOW I feel better without that dang snooze button. Oh and habit stacking, that is genius! I have started my habit tracker in my notion hub as well. Thank you thank you thank you for putting this chaos to calm challenge together. It has been so beautiful to work through these with you ♥️

These tips are really great, and I am excited to do a little audit of what I do in the mornings and make those changes. Also, thanks for the realness at the end, I often find myself in pj’s watching kdramas every Sunday morning 😂 this challenge has seriously been so great, and I am excited to move forward in this year with all of these wonderful tips and tricks!

Love the idea of focusing on how you feel!! I’ve tried morning routines because I felt like I SHOULD do certain things (wake up super early, exercise, etc), but they didn’t necessarily always make me FEEL good, so I’d lose motivation and stop. Lately I’ve been really enjoying just moving slowly in the morning, getting in a quick meditation and having some time for introspection before I start my day - it feels better than having to ‘achieve’ something first thing. Thanks for the video :)

Final week! Another great video - echoing others that focusing on the "feel" of your morning, and all parts of your day is so essential. This has me reflecting on my geographical location aa lot, and how it affects my energy, the amount of physical space in NYC vs other cities (like I'd love to set up Tonal in my Brooklyn apartment, but sadly not an option 😂). Believe you mentioned living in NY before Jules - did the move to Austin come as a result of looking for a city with a different energy, weather, *vibe*, or anything like that? Maybe I'm in a grass is greener mindset, but I do sometimes dream of living somewhere warmer, with greater access to nature. Anyway, on a bit of a tangent, but the "reset" and journey to calm has got me thinking! Last thing - how long has gua sha been part of your self-care routine? Do you find it helpful? How does one begin? KZbin video guides? :)

Started following an evening routine an hour before bed. Cleaning up the kitchen (I love walking into a clean kitchen in the morning, it's the best), skincare, reading, journaling, praying. No phones or screens. I sleep so much better and wake up refreshed! Also, I did the worksheet yesterday and was really empowered by it. Thanks for your resources, I'm looking forward to more videos!

Do you have any advice on how to feel more energized when waking up when it's still dark outside? When I see these beautiful videos there's always sunshine, and I feel I'm to depending on it. Like, sleeping 8h from 0.00 to 8.00 feels worse than sleeping them from 2.00 to 10.00 when there's light outside. Love your videos and this challenge!

I used to be a big morning workout person, but something wasn't clicking for me lately. By the time I would workout, shower, and eat breakfast...it was very much the afternoon lol. i thought it was really interesting to focus on what *isn't* working and what we *don't* want. a lot of times, I focus on 'what is SHOULD do' and 'positive habits that I want to inhabit.' to start from the opposite is a cool approach to fine-tune what I need to focus on. loving this challenge and how it encourages us to achieve the same concepts/ goals but in different ways

I work at 6am and don't have time to wake up any sooner to have a morning routine. It's been hard keeping up with a routine after work as well because I'm already physically and emotionally drained. This video has helped me realize I should listen to my body more and have rest days and not be so hard on myself for not completing what has started to feel like tasks rather than something to bring me joy and peace. I'm going to find my non negotiables and maybe one day I can habit stack when I start feeling more energized. Ty Jules

This video gets me SO excited to reset my morning routine after me and my partner move into a house in February. We are currently cramped into an apartment and do not have the indoor or outdoor space to work out, but our new place has tons of space for that. I truly can't wait to get my body moving again, it is so integral to having a healthy, dynamic routine for me!! I am wondering if you'd ever do a video/short video on your Tonal, and how you like it or what you don't like about it? We might buy one and you're one of the only people I know who has one! Would love to hear more about it sometime whether it's a short reel on IG or something longer on here. Thank you for these last four weeks of phenomenal content!!
