Inferior to pretty much any decent bench stone - you are trading "honing quality of life" for SPEED SPEED SPEED Using a great bench stone is a little pleasure, like a great sharp nail clipper or the film advance lever of a Leica M...this ain't that, but for all but the last step it is a damn racecar
