Resetting Ninebot Max back to factory settings

How to hard reset your Ninebot Max, super easy and quick. This will not work if you have custom flashed your scooter.

I've tried a speed hack on my F30E, it didn't worked, but the speed limit came down to 22 km/h... After the reset it 26 again! :-) Thanks mate, it worked beautifully! :)

Will this unbind your Max G30? I changed the control of the scooter a few years back, and the serial nr and the owner seem to have changed as well.

No, it did not in my case. For some reason my serial number kept changing every week, not sure if I was hacked or something. I changed the serial myself with an windows software while being connected to bluetooth (from PC to Scooter), and changed the serial number manually - problem solved. @@dedmonhomerepairfencing875

If you have flashed your his will not work. You will have to flash back to default. This is mainly to reset the Bluetooth connections

John Smith ah I see. This sounds like you have probably lowered the torque too much. I tend to keep it around the 48000 so that I have fairly good range. But a little more go go juice.

Hello I started to mess around with my controller because I want to instal a relay. Long story shor I think I messed it up. I made a stupid mistake trying to check the display voltage with a multimeter. Anyways the display port sparked from the multimeters. After I plugged everything back my display won’t turn on . No. You would have to open up the battery compartment to reset bms. Something I haven’t yet tried.
