I noticed you have a digital speedometer. Is this something I can get on my 65 plate s max?

Pretty sure you could upgrade, unless yours is the old model. Might be worth calling a dealer.

Hey, I'm wondering if you have a video on the actual oil change ? About to do mine today if possible, it's a 2019 S Max 2.0TDCi I think of got the right bits, but the internet is a weird place.

I don’t have a video, for this model. I find oil changes, don’t get much response on you tube. What are you unsure of. I do try to use Fords own parts where I can, though.

@@drivewaydiyer6504 just been out to have a look, can't even see the filter ! Can't imagine I'll be having a go today especially since it's snowing. I've got a Mann HU711/51x Castrol edge 0W-30 A5/B5 And I have the is shaped wrench, 27mm for undoing it. Not been under it yet, I wanted to check I had the correct parts before starting the job.

I’ve just referred to the manual and my service receipts. For the warranty service, Ford used 5w 20 and a F2279222 filter or the Mann equivalent . You can also use 5w 30 swell. To be honest , I normally use Ford 5w30. Not sure about the 0w30. If that’s what Ford have used on the past, then probably ok.👍

@@drivewaydiyer6504 thanks for doing that! I've had a soul search and realise i probably shouldn't be DIYing a car that's only a year old and done 12k miles. I was wondering why i've struggled to find any guides online, and i think it's because it's too new. ( a novelelty for me since i buy older cars usually) I've contacted the Ford dealer and will hopefully return all the parts i bought on Amazon. I don't think i can use 0-30 in my Subaru Legacy 3.0R, so unless i plan on doing my own oil change in the future, might not be a good idea to hang on to it. I appreciate your help though, i'll Sub

Probably the best outcome there. I normally leave servicing to the dlr, while under warranty. Once it’s out of warranty, I jump on it myself. Thanks for watching, been great talking with you.👍👍👍
