the vertical lines seem weird. I always thought of them as representing vibration, but the assetto corsa cam (and car) are completely smooth moving.

Yeah.. I would eventually like to replace the current speed lines system with one that randomizes their placement every few frames to really get that effect. Right now the lines look best on static screenshots because it hides the static nature of them.

(Sorry if i'm not clear in what i'm saying) Clearly not something playable for me, however the style is very fidel to what you have in a manga, nice work for that. Maybe with something less posterized and more like the anime (more cleany celshading effect maybe leaving the colourness with) would fit perfectly for someone who already played the game on arcade, or just search the feeling. Hope you'll continue in this way your work look amazing.

@@l8nightstudio279 your English is fine! Yeah this wasn’t really meant for live footage, it was more meant for screenshots that duplicate the hand drawn printed manga effect. This video was just to show that the effect can run on moving footage. As for making something more “anime” like, I think that would require a different kind of filter system entirely, as it shares very little in common with the manga panels. Yeah it did, unfortunately it ruined most of the CMYK and halftone effects because of the car movement. In order to make the background appear like it would in a static manga panel, I had to crank the motion blur to its maximum
