Rare Air Jordan 2 Signed By Michael Jordan Restoration

Today Vick is going to be restoring an autographed Air Jordan 2 from 1994. Jordan restorations of this magnitude are better done in pairs, so today Vick will be bringing A1 Restorations back to help with this massive project. The key is to keep the Air Jordan 2 as OG as possible while protecting the Michael Jordan autograph. This project will require a full midsole swap, among other things.
The first step is to remove the old, crumbling midsoles and old glue. This was quite an undertaking. While the midsoles came apart quite easily, removing the old glue and residue took a lot of scraping and repeated use of the heat gun. The next step is to remove some donor midsoles. For this Vick found a pair of Jordan 2 Lows from 2016.
Removing midsoles from Air Jordan 2s is not the prettiest thing in the world, it requires tearing the entire shoe apart. Luckily after a small struggle the pair was able to pull the midsoles, as well as shape them with a dremel to prep them for glue.
Vick and A1 glued the midsoles in place without too much trouble and the shoes are looking better already. At this point in the Jordan restoration process the shoes are wearable. The finishing touches include some fresh paint on some of the more beat up areas, and reapplying the sticker that proves that this pair of MJ-signed Air Jordan 2s is authentic.

@@RESHOEVN8R Yeah fosho! There's one detail you guys left out though in terms of the difference between the '16 and '95 retros. The '95 has an air unit in the heel while the '16 has a full length air unit. Part of the reason why A1 had to shave down the front of the midsole so it could fit.
