Air Jordan 1s were the first Team Air Jordans, the reason why they released 14 color ways from 85-86 was so they could get the Air Jordan 1s on as many kids feet's as possible. The AJ1 was also apart of the NIKE BE TRUE TO YOUR SCHOOL Campaign. There's hundreds of photos out there of high school teams in the 80s wearing the AJ1s.

The uppers will hold alot more of the dirt and dust in storage, don't think these where worn to much which is why there is no heel drag.
