Interesting thing is that the resident evil zero save theme was based off the dualshock version of RE1s Rebecca theme. Dualshock version made use of a lot of trumpets in it's tracks. I hear a lot of trumpets in this version of the save room theme. I wonder if that "deaf" composer of re1 dualshock was the save room theme composer for re0 64. Just my theory.

Takashi Niigaki isn't deaf. ;) But no, the music for the N64 version was probably written by Seiko Kobuchi as well. Her RE0 save room theme actually references Rebecca's theme from the RE1 Dual Shock version. There are some other tracks in the GameCube RE0 score that are very reminiscent of music from previous games in the series.

This version actually sounds like it could belong in Bejeweled 2. It's a neat version that sadly never saw the light of day.

I didn't even know this existed. I loved the RE0 remake though. Hopefully it gets a 2nd chance with a remake and some good multiplayer coop so more people will like it.

@@thedarktyrant from what I understand the 64 version was actually pretty decently far along by the time it was shelved and the team remade it for GameCube. You are right though, the GameCube version is essentially a remake because the team didn't just move it to GameCube they had to remake it from scratch.

​@@eyeflaps I think the original version was cancelled because the N64 add on that allowed for more memory to be read wasn't selling well and eventually stopped selling, and since RE0 was a huge game for N64 standards it needed the extra memory that it just wouldn't have the ability to obtain anymore

Yes! It is a very faithful recreation that sounds almost 1:1 to the E3 version by a modder. It's all in the description. It's even better than the other version I had!
