As a hardcore RE fan this actually made me tear up just a little. This is true Resident Evil. This is what we’ve been wanting!!!! To see the streets, the gore, the HORROR in modern times is just incredible. Goosebumps.

bellers01 This isn’t a remaster this is a REMAKE, that’s been worked on from the ground up. It doesn’t make sense to take the original RE2 with its pre rendered still backgrounds and fixed camera and just update the graphics frame by frame. I get what you mean but the camera angles don’t define RE anymore, yes the fixed pre rendered are classic but the camera angles and over the shoulder taken from 4, 5 and 6 for this remake let us get up close and personal with the surroundings and the zombies, it works so well. The reason I am not a fan of 4, 5 and 6 isn’t because of the camera work but because those games turned RE into more of an action game with enemies that weren’t really classic zombies anymore. The streets of Raccoon City, RPD, Leon and Claire, lickers and actual proper zombies, gore and horror that go back to its roots, this is why it’s true Resident Evil!

Lj Jones well said man, I never got to play resi until 5 (too young at the time) which I enjoyed but I never liked anything other than the classic zombies, it felt more action than horror. This trailer though has actually put some fear and excitement into me, I actually can't wait to experience it!

Because unlike Death Stranding, we've actually been told this was on the way but they've been so tight lipped about the information regarding it many people actually thought it got canned sometime last year as we didn't see any actual talk of it when the Anniversary rolled around this year. So when we finally saw that zombie and Leon it was like getting to the top of the hill on a roller coaster with a massive relief that from here it's smooth sailing until release.

Another thing was that Sony told us weeks ago that we'll be seeing Death Stranding. We knew what we were going to get and it delivered in that front. No one saw Resident Evil 2 coming.

RE2 make an announcement, then silence, then trailer and gameplay then SBAM JANUARY 2019, THX BYE. Death Stranding is doing the thing, in my opinion, TOO SLOW: 2015 trailer, 2016 trailer, 2017 trailer, 2018 trailer with SOME gameplay... and you still can't understand what the game is. I really love Kojima's works... but my hype for DS is going down after the third trailer. No date, no explanation, nothing.

El Bottoo I was 15 when that game was released dumbass, and the Resident Evil franchise was mediocre as hell before RE7 came out, although I did enjoy the RE Revelations games. Kojima/Del Toros fucking DEMO of Silent Hill PT got better positive feedback in just days than the RE franchise has had in years, the gameplay in this trailer we just got was weird as hell and we still don’t understand anything about it so fuck off

Man, the moment we started getting that rat POV perspective, it alluded so much to Biohazard 4D Executor and Biohazard Outbreak. Then the PS1 console, after that all the lockers and file cabinets that were so iconic of the Biohazard 2 police station environments. I instantly said to myself, that's freaking it!
