No matter how many times I watch this video, I get goosebumps all over. This is the most well made teaser I've seen for a game, it doesn't give away anything solid about the plot but it succeeds in capturing the atmosphere and emotion of the game perfectly, and the symbolism present here is subtle yet brilliant. It can be agreed that Part 2 was heavily flawed but I can appreciate what Neil did with the story, even if I don't agree with all of it. I look forward to what they have in store for Part 3.

But yeah, showing her talking with his ghost wouldn't really make sense, she only has flashbacks when she sees or hears certain things, like the wood that fell over when she brought in the sheep. The trailer makes sense in retrospect as if Joel was a portrayal of his memory in her eyes, sort of a way to let her cope with her loss. Might be why the trailer didn't include Joel's face. Ellie both leaving behind a trail of dead bodies in her wake and Joel asking if she really wanted to go through with it as though the disappointment of Joel lingered in her mind throughout the journey of revenge she had in mind.
