I wasn’t alive for the original release of RE2, but I started playing the remake a few days ago. This is by far my favorite track, it perfectly captures the feeling of that unsure safety you feel. You’re not sure what’s ahead, you’re rattled from the events of the past 20 minutes or so, but for now you’re safe. It’s peaceful.

My favorite part about this amazing song and sound combo is that I’m literally being put to sleep by a Resident Evil game! The devs did such an amazing job giving this terrifying and unknown police station a sense of comfort and security that can only be found inside a safe room. Amazing work!

Hands down my favourite place in the whole of re universe. The police station and racoon city. So beautiful. What an amazing story tell this game was. Imagine your first day on the force, zombies everwhere, the refuge you think is this museum of a station, but its adorned with puzzles and makeshift medic beds and as you dwell deeper you find 6 shotguns shells in a locker. Aha!.. Entering the station gave you a second of peace and tranquility. Escape from the city carnage. To see the beutiful monuments scattering its beauty, the ambiance and the 90s feel, the rain and music, all highlighting what it means to be a alive. Just Wow!

" I laid up in my panic room watching the camera monitors. Rain belting down on the tin roof filling me with some semblance of what use to be normalcy. It didn't last long. I could hear blood curdling screams filling the night sky. As eerie as it was to hear, the silence and moaning that surely followed was worse. The debate on whether this place is gonna be blown to hell in a matter of hours is over the airwaves. There is a military blockade south of the parks woods blocking off I-95 and the entrance to Racoons city successfully. My apartment building is a pretty far walk from there. My mind was made up, I had to try and escape this city. Trusty Colt Python at my side and a bandolier full of ammo I set out into the night through the fire escape on the side of the building and began my escape from the city."
