You missed one Easter Egg. The "Welcome Leon" that hangs in the west office. In the original game, the devs misspelled the word Wellcome, with two "L". In the remake you can notice a gap between "Wel come" like there was a missing letter. On one of the desk in the same room, there is the missing "L" laying there. ;) JJ from ROE noticed it in his gameplay.

I believe he has most of his uniform beneath what I think it's a rain coat/rain jacket (since it's raining in the game), he's probably putting on the rest of the accessories like the RPD vest and the pads and/or the gloves and stuff. I'm saying this because he doesn't seem to have a backpack anywhere near him so I don't see how he's carrying the whole uniform with him, but there might be other things I missed

jesse arroyo he’s in his uni already. Leon’s willingness to make a name for himself is part of his character and why he is so eager to take orders and direction from a commanding officer. It’s why he clings to doing the right thing like trying to get Marvin to a hospital and has to be redirected by Marvin to move on without him. Leon was driving into raccoon from New York and I don’t see how he would just happen to have a trench coat lying around, especially one not branded with the academy or raccoons insignia.

@@zrichards907 I'm inclined to agree with you, however the jacket is there and it's a fact (unless the sequences showed an alternate outfit we don't know anything about O: ), and you can see he wear no gloves, so, like I said before, I think he has most of the uniform on minus some accessories. So here's what I think it happens: Leon oversleeps from a few boozes and rushes to work with his uniform already on (if they keep this from the original Leon lore, I'm not sure because the "briefing" text before the demo says he is stockin on gas when he gets surrounded by zombambos); since it's raining he puts on a rain coat so the uniform doesn't get wet when he eventually gets off the car (weither it's because he finds the corpse in the street like the original, or because he needs to make gas) end eventually, with all the chaos, he keeps it on untill he meets marvin and can catch a breath for a moment (ditching the raincoat because it's probably not practical and wearing protection to the elbows and to the hands. That's how I imagine it anyway.

I like how in this new re2 remake that having Leon start off in civilian clothes. In first game it never made sense for Leon to start off in a swat officer's uniform on his first day on the the job.

Leon was recruited as part of an expanded recruitment drive due to the rising cases of vandalism and violence (Zombies). These cases were dangerous for officers, so an armored standard issue uniform was introduced with new recruits being among the first to receive it as they were due for active duty on the streets upon arrival. Kevin Ryman from outbreak file 2 had the same uniform so there were some officers that had them, they just weren't streamline yet. But Kevin was also being considered for Raccoons select swat division that was being established, so that could be how he had the uniform.

I took a good look on the demo but it is hard to tell. There are multiple copies of the picture all along that corridor under missing persons so maybe not .unless they classed him as missing? Not sure if they could get the bodies of the dead stars members from the mansion as it blew up.

I think it is the Nemesis. I think we're witnessing the efforts of the developers to maintain continuity. As far as I've seen Mr. X hasn't broke through any walls. He's always using doors, stairs, etc. like a human.

It's just a shame that some new plot holes are introduced in the remake, like that time travelling magazine, and the modern computer monitors in 1998...

I caught the clothes audio when I played it recently. I never thought about the images of Leon with the trench coat. Maybe, who knows in the final product, that he'll start in civilian attire and after Marvin saves him he'll change into the uniform.

Actually we see Leon in this attire in the reveal trailer for the remake but he was covered in shadows. In the trailer you see Leon walking down the street to the RPD and you can tell that he isn't wearing his uniform but instead a jacket.

It seem like people keep missing this, but during the part were Marvin kills the zombie attacking Leon it's actually the updated version of the first zombie encountered in RE1. The only real difference is the right side of it's face has slightly more damage to it.

@Virgil Grin I just double checked. You find Marvin unconscious looking bloody but not zombified and when you check the body it says "he's been fatally wounded by zombies" also according to capcom's official timeline the first part of RE3 definitely takes place before Claire and Leon arrive.

@Virgil Grin it is a little inconsistent, but thats capcom's official timeline. Presumably when Jill finds Marvin he's just unconscious. It says "fatally wounded by zombies" not "he's dead" also his skin tone is distinctly not zombie-like if you watch a video. And who knows, perhaps now that capcom is getting the chance to rewrite some of the lore with REmake 2 it means they get to put more forethought into evironment design elements so that the damage nemesis causes to the RPD does line up exactly with what we see in 2 this time around.

@@robloxsticknews1022 Ebay is really your only bet honestly. Not like there making copies anymore. Also people had internet for PS2 back then but it wasnt very wide spread. Hell alot of people didnt even know it was possible. Most games had it. Said on the case but most people arent looking at tech details on a case when they buy games. Didnt help that those that did would end up playing with Japanese people about 98% of the time because ya know Play Station & Japan sorta go hand in hand so makes sense. But what really didnt help is that the only to talk to people in game you had to use the in game chat system, emotes, or make your character talk to get across what you wanted. Problem is if you dont speak the same language thats a problem. Then the servers got shut off so if you bought it now youd have to download an unofficial server browser & install that. Then hope when you look for a match that one of the few hundred that still play PS2/PC crack online of RE: Outbreak FIle 1 & File 2 are on & actively looking for a match at the same time you are. The language barrier is still a problem. But if you have the time & patience then most defiantly do it man! Its a blast & so fun! Especially the infection mechanic as your character can actually get infected & turn. As for links if your looking for a PC Cracked version of RE: Outbreak File 1 or File 2 then just google it. If you want it that bad it shouldnt be hard to find a website in the first few clicks hosting the files to download. Then of course ebay for a physical PS2 cop;y. Either way you still have to go through the trouble of connecting.

Spent 15 of my minutes not realizing I had to move the knocked over cabinet to move on. All squandered... All before I thought to look for the plethora of already made trainers to remove the timer.... Then a new clock started, the clock to Jan 25th... the day I can finally take in any single little detail of the game, for real.... outside of a FU 30 min high stress, achievements every 5 min to let you know your F'd, demo. I even streamed it to my channel... what a sad event, but it is a 1080/60 stream of a native 4K HDR max settings scenario on a first gen 980x @ 4.15 all 6/12 w/RTX 2070 @ +200/+700 ... so it's an insight into how it runs, and it runs (and looks) really good!

Phantomshadow224 if you play with widescreen hack, you could see the head on ceiling. It was supposed to fall infront of player (the animation is still present in the game afaik). The licker was eating it. This is tye reason leon stopa in the hall suddenly in the first place. The falling head stopped him.

So technically resident Evil 3 happened before 2, only by a few hours so it's very possible that Jill was there at the rpd first battling nemesis. A clue is all the wide holes for the re2 remake and the wrapped up body outside the rpd, wrapped up body could be a reference to Brad when he was killed literally outside the rpd by nemesis. In the original re2 we had access to everything pretty much but in 3, there were places that we accessed in 2 but couldn't access in 3. It was possible that there were survivors before jill, Leon, ada, Sherry, And Claire got there cause Marvin was found in the room behind the statue cause he barricaded himself in there and in one of the file outbreaks there's a plot containing places we never knew about in RE 2 and 3, for example, the unicorn statue in the main hall is a secret passage way out of the rpd. I love how the remake is expanding upon the rpd and how big it is filled with things we never knew about. There probably more secrets that we will find out about the rpd more when it's officially released

I don't think the big hole that created by Nemesis, Jill visit RPD station After Leon. Why ? because when Jill come to the police station she discovered Marvin body lying there. But there is still one thing that bothering me, are they visit police station at the same time ? because in Resident Evil 2 Leon have to kill Marvin that have turned into zombie, but in Resident Evil 3 Marvin already dead but not turn into a zombie yet when Jill already pick her lock pick the body was gone

Love your Easter Egg video, I had no idea that Leon will being wearing casual attire in the beginning of the game. Did you also hear the rumors that CAPCOM is also developing Nemesis as we speak, it would make sense since they already have the base assets from RE2 Remake made already. Of course I have to wait for CAPCOM themselves to make an announcement before I can takes this news an seriousness!! PEACE OUT!!! Brad Vickers BETTER be in the game as well!!!!

The same assets being in the game doesn't have anything to do with the engine being the same. You can export assets to whichever engine you desire. Assets are made in 3D modeling programs that are seperate from game engines.
