Yes She is a great Ada. Was never a Fan of the original Ada, and never got it why Leon and the Fans were so crazy about her, but the new interpretation of Leon and Ada is spot on and now I like Ada and I can see why some Fans and Leon fall for her. Jolene and Nick did a great job portraying a great chemistry between Leon and Ada.

Ada’s voice actress in the original was also in RE4. Sally Cahill was great and in my opinion the real Ada, just as Alyson Court is the real Claire. Jolene still did good though.

Right there with you. I didn’t dislike the actors themselves of the past, but the stilted writing and moment where she up and ditched someone who took a bullet for her always rubbed me the wrong way. REmake 2 told this story perfectly. Go Nick n’ Jolene.

@Tig Bitties Ada was a new, low-key supporting character in 1998. No hype whatsoever unlike today. Sally is the primary reason why Ada has grown iconic in the franchise.

@Tig Bitties I heard Capcom wanted to stick with the original voice actors going forward but they became expensive, so they chose to find more affordable affordable ones. They probably hired Courtney because she could imitate Sally's voice.

I hope Capcom keeps her around. I thought she did a great job with her potrayal of Ada. One of the highlights of the game and that's saying a lot because the remake is awesome. Love the original, love the remake just as much, maybe even in more in certain instances. I do like how it's a bit more cinematic and it needed to be in 2019, but the gameplay keeps that old school sensibility while still adding in some modern design.

Great interview! Ada is definitely my favorite character in the Resi series. Jolene’s voice definitely fits Ada in the Resi 2 remake. If she were a real character I could hear her sounding just like Jolene. Can’t wait for the next interview!

Awesome interview (as well as the one with Nick Apostolides). As usual it's always enjoyable to hear the experiences from the actors/actresses POV and how they enjoyed themselves. Ada Wong isn't my favorite character in RE but it was awesome seeing how Jolene brought her to life from what I watched in the cutscenes of the game, as well as Nick and Stephanie Panisello with Leon/Claire. I'll always have a soft spot for the previous actors who voiced and played these characters, I enjoy both Matt Mercer and Alyson Court, but all of these new additions are great. I've watched and listened to the cutscenes plenty the past few weeks and they definitely aren't tiring yet. I've also always had a soft spot for how the Claire-Sherry story evolved. I look forward to hopefully hearing you all being able to interview Stephanie Panisello's story if possible.
