I must say, I really like how your videos have absolutely no filler. You cut straight to the point, that's refreshing. If I could give one criticism, try to enunciate better. There are times when you slur your words and it can be hard to understand.

Thanks, man. Glad you like it. Yeah, enunciation can be hit or miss for me. I do try to slow down but generally, I think when there's a lot of information, my mouth often moves faster to get it out. I'll definitely try to keep the pace more consistent in the future though.

You hit the biggest issue on the head here. Nemesis was scarier than Mr X, but only showed up twice to actually hunt you. Between that and the shorter length, I'll say it's fun but short with a lot of unused potential. RE7 is still the best for me.
@solid_fire93883 жыл бұрын
actually he's just faster than Mr.X but not scarier, unlike the Original Nemi you don't feel his presence in RE3R, sadly you can take him down with one Grenade :( but it was fun to fight him and like u said wayy too short !

The following comments are based on the NIGHTMARE and INFERNO modes of the game which are clearly the devs intended way of play. Personally, I think this game is fantastic. Combat is far more dynamic than both RE2 and RE4 remakes. Jill can essentially parry/interrupt almost all enemy attacks,including the Hunters 1 shot move by using the knife and pulling back on the joytick while striking. In addition the dodge roll into counterstrike/shot is highly rewarding and satisfying. Not to mention her excellent selection of fire arms and pistol variations. Carlos is an absolute blast with his counter punch perfect parry as well as his shoulder shove which can also lead into a player initiated counter punch by double tapping the skill button with proper timing. Nemesis is absolutely phenomenal, I really don't get the complaints here unless all you do is play on the introductory difficulty settings...which are just that and introduction to the real game. I personally dont think the hardcore and below shouldve been included as they don't encourage the player to engage with the games new mechanics. Back to Nemesis, Nemesis is relentless on Inferno and Nightmare and for all the right reasons. He serves as a driving force for the player, encouraging the player to move forward while strategically engaging him in order to get those precious weapon parts and extra shot gun ammunition. I agree that his transformation just before the clock tower was a boss fight too soon and that we could've have more trenchcoat and aresenal nemesis before going to feral beast mode, but with that said, he's still a blast to fight and all versions of nemesis are better than any other boss fight in the series outside of the RE5 DLC Lost in Nightmare Wesker VS Chris and Jill. Short doesnt mean bad. Its actually what I love about the game. Its appropraitely paced from beginning to end, with not a single section isnt at least good. Its highly replayable for speed runners and high skill players. It story and characters are the best the series has seen to date. The irony is that the complaints made about cut content are the worst parts of the OG RE3. As for linearity....RE3 OG was extremely linear, and was mostly just run down this extemely long alley way and then back track...rinse and repeat. Nemesis was not random as many would have you think and was just as scripted and far less engaging and fun. I would argue that RE3 make is ironically the most polished of the remakes by far outside of the RE1 remake thatvwas headed by Mikami.

This is definitely the best review of the game I've seen. I'm right along with you. I enjoyed the hell out of it but think it was lacking in quite a bit of what could've made it go from good to great. I was saying the whole time this game should have been open world during the Raccoon portions, then slide into linear in the latter half. Nemesis was a missing element which didn't get enough out of his own game. They wasted time on Resistance. A game I played one time and saw how trash of a concept it was. Hopefully the word can get to Capcom and they decide to put more effort into a "Director's Cut" type of release but that seems doubtful.

18:58 funny enough one of the concepts of Nemesis has him wielding a minigun, I wish there was an encounter with him wielding the weapon.

Hands down the best RE3make review i've ever seen. Feels like fair criticism instead of just mindless bashing. This game is awesome. Although i think the score you gave it is way too low. The game is an easy 7.5/10 or 8/10 from the buttery smooth gameplay alone.

My problem with this game wasn't the length or the lack of replayability it was in the fact that the first two hours were GREAT after that... it kinda fell off.. when nemesis turned into a chicken thing.. I thought how the HELL you gonna waste such a great design for him ON THAT.. also I went into this game WANTING TO explore Raccoon city! Instead we got ONE small section LOL! this game isnt as good as the RE2 remake but it's not bad... its probably a 7.4/10... nice to see a long review of this game! Good work 👍

I agree with the tone of the story. REmake 2 was pretty serious and grounded which is cool but I like how cheesy and straightforward 3 is. It’s a nice contrast. For how vanilla and basic Nikolai is he’s still an entertaining presence. I like these newer RE titles a lot more than 5-6 because they’re just way more confident in their direction regardless of how stupid things can get whereas 5-6 felt very confused and pandering.

I get they wanted to have this more story focused but the opening is disappointing. I didn’t like how nemesis showed up instantly. In the original brad keeps running away and tells you vague things about nemesis. And it builds for nemesis’s introduction when he kills brad.

I'm probably going to get killed for saying this...But here it goes! I get the feeling that video games have stagnated in terms of their creativity. Furthermore, I feel they have stagnated A LOT throughout the last few years, and I have to admit - I am NOT a fan of remakes or re-releases. However, in this generation, I get the feeling more series' and IPs are ending with fewer new projects coming instead. (Well...there are a few, but I'm seriously not that interested in them.) The fact that we are in the season of remakes, re-releases and sequels is a testament to this. I remember playing the first version of this on the PS1 over 20 years ago, and honestly I do not see the point of a remake, or playing a remake of such a game now (A few changes and a few new locations isn't enough to convince me otherwise). .

9:07 Mr. X doesn't persistently hunt you for long. He only actively stalks you in one level, the RPD, the rest of his encounters, more specifically in Leon's campaign, he's scripted and only stalks you for a few seconds. After recently playing through the remakes, Re7 and ReVillage, most of their respective stalker enemies are confined to one level, Nemmy, unfortunately, was no different. Ik this is an old review, but I wanted to share my thoughts. I'm a RE newbie since 2022.
@dandenton24385 ай бұрын
They definitely took facial features and expressions to the next level in RE3make but the lack of how epic it was to dismember zombies (which was way better in RE2) and the lackluster time to beat the game made it just a good game to play whenever you don't feel like sinking time into something long that takes a weekend to beat. 7 out of 10. However...the game is still fun and I beat it like 5 times in a row because it was still fun.

Honestly I'd rather the Original trilogy compared to the remakes , the originals feel like they have heart and a soul while the remakes feel like there made only with the bare basics to get a paycheck feeding off nostalgia. The original trilogy story made sense and had different paths if you chose while the remakes cut out too much to the point that the story suffered and was bare ones

Just like hundreds of other gamers, your magnitude of disappointment sky rockets a hundred fold when you compare this Reimagining of a game to The Original. I'm the same way too. I do not even call this game a remake, I call it A Reimagining. I agree, RE Resistance is sh(beep) and the creators at Capcom sold this game how it is because of a too early deadline release. Not only that but I also agree that we needed more Nemesis. A Iconic Legendary Character of this Entire Franchise never hit the spotlight in this game like how he did in the original.
