Do people not know you can skip the radio conversations? Every Speedrun I see no one skips them

The leaderboards look at the final time in game and while you're in a radio call, the timer becomes frozen. With that you can get "free" distance by moving without losing time.

That's what the "No Intro" stands for in this category, yes. No one claims these are "true" runs, it's just a different ruleset that the community made up.

Well, on PC most people will be more comfortable with keyboard and mouse since that's what they likely use for other games. Some people still run with controllers though.
