Resident Evil 3 Remake Speedrun Tutorial - No Item Box, No Med Items & S Rank - New Game. This run intends to help you get a few of the achievements/trophies for Resident Evil 3 Remake, those achievements are Sprinter - Complete the game in under 2 hours of playtime, Minimalist - Complete the game without opening the item box, I Might Need These Later! - Complete the game using 1 or fewer recovery items & Sensational Work! - Complete the game with an S rank. This run isn't trying to break a world record or anything but will help you mainly with the achievements listed above.

Solid tutorial! I straight up didnt even bother with the red dot when I did this run. generally avoided any weapons/upgrades that would take time.

A few notes: Safe combinations don't care what direction you go to the numbers, so long as you change directions between them. So if you mess up and go left when you should have gone right, you can just go left-right-left and it'll work. Also, if you really want to save healing items, you don't need to use one to clear the parasite. You'll have to limp through the Deimos area (so not a great choice if you're going for speed), but you automatically get rid of it when you leave the area after completing it, and Assisted regens your health to Caution faster than the parasite drains it, so you'll stay on Caution (which actually makes you run faster than Fine).

Love your guides. I remember using one for RE2:R as well and when I heard your soothing voice I knew this was one and the same. Now I am subbed. I love Resi games, but with FFVII right around the corner I don't have a ton of time to devote to getting the plat on this one. For anyone worried about doing things fast and not healing, you can easily get the trophy/achievement for 1 or less heals on your first full/slow collectible run on assisted as well. You don't need to use the green herb when you get the parasites, you will vomit them out automatically after turning on all 4 generators and leaving the area. You'll just move slow for the area and this saves you a full heal later in the run. Every time you change characters you also get a free heal. I ended with 0 heals easy. This speedrun was my 2nd run through the game to knock minimalist out of the way and it really helped to be able to do it as fast as possible. Now on to HC run with the cheats enabled lol.

Cheese carlos's hospital defence section, especially if you have a infinite gun.. at a point they stop spawning.. just reload auto save ;)

Great guide thank you, very helpful! I was badly equipped for the Plaza fight around the 58:00 mark, only had handgun and shotgun and eventually floored him lol, and I found that when he's ready to do his death dive, if you put the central plaza statue between you and Nemmy, it slows down/jams his descent for you to avoid him.

Thanks for your help with this guide, was my 3rd playthough on PS4. Other two were 2 and 1/2 hours on Normal to get all collectables Files and Charlies. With abit of grinding in the Hospital and this run which aslo got me 4 trophies i was able to get the Infinite Grenade Launcher(Fun Fun Fun). Now i can smash Hardcore, Nightmare and hopefully Inferno quicktime. Good comms and easy to follow guide, makes it very helpful for new or veteran players. Thanks IFreeMz
