Shooting range tokens tip - get the tokens from the challenges, go save, then go do the charm vending machine. Reload the save where you still have your tokens if you get garbage charms. Repeat until you get the ones you want. Cheers Vash! Love the play through

As a 4 or 5 year RE4 was my introduction to the franchise and horror in general! I would always watch my uncle play the game on GameCube and loved it. So now as a 17 year old I have to say I love this remake. I’m chapter 6 and I’m loving every moment of it. I love that they kept the camp and a lot of things from the original. I also love the changes they made and things they added because they don’t take away from the enjoyment of the game. See people this is how you do a remake!

Little tip about the charms, I believe the charms are set on the combination of tokens you put in per roll for that playthrough. For instance, roll 1 will always be the chainsaw sisters if you put in 3 golds but if you had put in 3 silvers, it would have been something else. Same thing with roll 2, 3 silver will get you the guy with the axe charm but if you had put in 1 gold and 2 silvers, it would have been different. Optimal thing to do is to make a save before spending your tokens, then see what you get while making note of the combinations used and if you dont like any of them or only a couple then reload and try different combinations for the rolls that where shit. It's a pain in the ass and don't know if its worth it at the end of the day

Hey vash, for the shooting range,( you probably already know this by now) the targets themselves are on a personal timer but the timer on the top is basically extra points, also for the skull coins in the c challenge, the first Target has a hidden coin behind a barrel, shoot the barrel and then shoot the target.

Vash, those are actually Ravens not Crows. They are MUCH bigger than Crows and if you saw one in real life you would also say "fuck those are some big ass crows". They have different shaped tails that you could distinguish while they are flying, and make different (although similar) noises. I have only seen one raven in the wild and I was very surprised, because I didn't know they were giant compared to the Crow.

Quick tip, you can restart the shooting range by opening your game menu! Also, I could be wrong but I do believe you can parry dogs. Otherwise, enjoying the playthrough so far dude.

If you haven't been told ( I skimmed the comments but didn't see anyone say ) the prizes from the token machine aren't random. It has something to do with the composition of the tokens you use. Spoilers below so don't proceed if you don't want to know how it works and how to get some of the better ones in the game. Silver = S Gold = G G+S+S 4 - 5 times for EXTREMELY good charms. S+S+G 2 times for a decent money saver S+S+S This I don't have a count for but if you do it a bunch you can get a great health charm.

I know these videos take a day or so to render but, i can't believe I'm ahead of vash in RE4 remake 😂 I'm on chapter 11. But I'm on standard. I regret it. I should've put hard. Never played the original, only saw vash' playthrough. But i saw Vash play RE2 so much that i bought that remake and LOVED IT. Tbh i think RE2 remake is better BUT RE4 remake is great too! I never wanted to deal with that part in tbe OG where you get locked in a cage, (spoiler alert next) thankfully tbey replaced it, although i was ready for it when it came but whatever. I'm guessing that the gacha machine is randomly predetermined in order to stop people for save quitting until they get the charms they want. Its seems like Capcom were going for a "every playthough is unique" gimmick with this remake but that defeats the point of a gacha machine. Anyway, Loving the series so far Vash.
