​@@Rain07120 heavy grenade is a must for this because it makes it so much easier to clear he did give the best method but there is another way to do it a bit slower but safe 1 heavy grenade and chicago infinite power level 3 should do the job S+ works with chicago if your doing S+ just knife them and shoot they stuck on animation for few seconds first kill the one with no armor then kill the one with armor.

pro tip: when you shoot their weakpoint the parasite temporary exposed, you can then throw a flashbang to deal massive damage (instant kill in lower difficulty)

you can also use the bolt thrower with attachable grenades. stick it on one (best on the parasite part of the armored one) and the beeping will cause them to attack eachother. it also helps that the bolt thrower is considered silenced. basically you can kill them from across the room.

If you manage to get the bolt bomb on the other side of the gate then they will keep chasing after it but be unable to reach it so it will never explode. Then no matter what they hear they will always run back to the gate.

Another good strategy is to use the bolt thrower mine and launch it up high. The garadors will chase it and ignore you. You can shen shoot them in the back

Grenades (frag and flash) are definitely the way to a better experience. Even with unlimited Handcannon, it will still really hard to get their back with shots, instead usually hitting all their armor. Some heavy grenades are my favorite to soften them up. I was lucky to have like 3.

The bolt thrower doesn’t alert them to your presence and when you fully upgrade damage it one shots the parasite on Hardcore (don’t know about Professional.)

For anybody having trouble. The bells are you best friend. One is right of the entrance and the others are right and left at the top of the stairs. Shoot the bells and let them hack up the normal enemies. Grenade, expose, then flash bang.

​@@murphbri Another route you can take is to go to your new game file get 2mil to buy the infinite rocket launcher and beat pro to get the chicago. You could go the hand cannon route it's just that it can be pretty rough early game which is where the majority of the challenge is it since once ch.7 hits you should have enough for an infine ammo weapon of your choise to go through the game. Hand cannon is great at clearing weak enemies and mini bosses/bosses but struggles a but hitting weak points or small enemies because of its inaccuracy. Chicago takes a little linger to kill weak mobs at first and hinestly struggles a bit at the maze with consistently killing dogs because of the recoil imo, but you cant go wrong with it.

on professional for the "Merciless knight" request just use the 20 round that come in the CQBR weapon that you get at the same time as the request at the start of the chapter to down and kill the 2 fodder knights then run around the Merciless Knight in a circle around a Pillar (his turn radius is TRASH) and just keep doing it until you get a nice shot at his back twice with the broken butterfly so his helmet comes off then throw one flashbang.

If you are not going for a speedrun and instead is just going for the clear in a NG without special weapons for the handcannon you can first let the garradors kill every wave of cultist ganado that spawn and after killing them both you will have an insane amount of loot.

I decided on NG pro my strat for this is selling my upgraded tmp and whatever treasure I have and buying a rocket launcher. Kill three guys shoot the bell to get both Gs next to each other and shoot the floor with the rocket. Its not necessarily about making the room easy it’s about not blowing all your resources because this room can eat your whole inventory.

Actually pretty solid idea but requires skill. This room was a pain on Prof NG. I focused on the crowd first then on the garradors. Once their parasite popped, I flashed. You absolutely need to bring at least a grenade and a flash. You find another flash on a table.

This area is such a load of shit in the remake, especially in Pro. The incessant waves of Ganados coming your way + the two freaks getting mad whenever you shoot is HORRIBLE in this tiny room. Never get caught at the wall or you'll get combo to death even with heals. The thing this area could be good, like many others in the remake if it was not for Leon not being a slow fuck who can't sprint or run away quickly.

I actually used a rocket launcher for this room on professional NG. But after seeing this, I wouldn’t do it anymore. Using a rocket here means you can’t use it on Salazar. Not sure if you could save one from earlier, maybe even from village if money allows for it.

Salazar is easy enough without the rocket launcher imo. But also didnt rocket here either. You usually have enough for 3 rockets. I used mine first Gigante encounter, krauser second fight and saddler

Now that it was discovered the other day, the easiest method to killing salazar besides rockets is throwing a golden egg at him at the start of the fight and then lay into him with you strongest weapon while he's stunned.

Took me over an hour on assisted on new game plus. even with a fully upgraded fighter knife with double power one garrador can single handle break that knife before It dies. Theres no way possible im playing standard and beyond without infinite ammo and powerful weapons. The mercenaries was way easy to s rank but i can still barely handle story on assisted.

After this mini boss the next mayor boss is the verdugo, you will need to avoid him in professional S+ because he ate all you ammo, is easy in the room where is a generator in the middle you just circle around and foolish the IA, after that come salazar with 1 golden egg you made 70% of his health, or 2 golden egg kill him in like 5 seconds into the figth, so, you can really spend all you HG here, of course if you aim to the professional S+ rank

OK, I can confirm the 2 large grenades and the 1 flash strat does NOT work on Professional Mode. There really is no way to pass this other than going aggressive. I've been stuck on this for 2 days and I finally just went HAM on them and strategically avoiding and bam. Worked. There is no special strat. Just don't hold back.

Everything on NG+ is simple. By the time i hit the castle i had like 15 first aid sprays, 150 handgun ammo, 200 sub, 40 rifle and 30 some odd shotgun. Then i bought the infinite launcher and cheesed everything. Finding those rats are no problem when you set a nuke off 😂
