I have to agree, getting the Platinum Trophy for this game was a absolute grind. I mean, the game is fun but to do some of the challenges/trophies were tough to do. Worst ones for me was to get an S-rank at the shooting range challenges and beat the game on Professional with S+ rank.

Same for me. Hardest things were the S ranks in the shooting range, the S+ professional run (also just skipped Mendez) and the cart section because like an idiot I did it on professional difficulty without the gas mask which I found out later would’ve helped me immensely. All and all it was a heck on an experience but I don’t think I ever want to play this game again. I’ve still of ‘sacrificial lamb’ ringing in my ears.

I still remember my first time in the cabin on pro. Once the pig spawned I just threw flash grenades and stabbed the hell out of this guy until he was down. I didn't even care anymore if I wasted shit or not. Other than that you can make your S+ playthrough A LOT easier if you spend 2,99 or so on a ticket, so you can give the Sweeper or Handcannon infinite ammo right off the bat.

This is a hot take (on Twitter especially) but RE4 remake is better than the original in every way. I played 4 before I ever got my hands on the remake, months ago, and quite frankly? With the exception of (most) of the villains personalities (which fall kind of flat in the remake, except Krauser, who I would argue is the MOST important bad guy for the game to nail, because Leon has an actual attachment to him.) the remake is just better lol. Luis is also infinitely better in the remake. He falls way flat in the original, feeling largely like a one dimensional background character that Capcom *tries* to make feel important, but in the remake he's the literal lifeblood of the game. Ashley is simultaneously easier and more difficult to deal with, which is always interesting cause it shakes up the gameplay loop. The plot of the game feels better thought out too, and I would even argue the bosses are all more memorable as fights than the original. The rethought enemies are great, the exploration is peak resident evil. It's my favorite re game after 7 and Village (because I just love Ethan so much)

Watching you do the shooting range is so frustrating. To anyone else, the key is to get a bonus round, and for MOST of the challenges you can get by with still hitting sailors, the game is not too bad with the score overall so no need to be perfection.

Shooting range over all sucks ass and is a huge waste of time. Because 3 gold coins can give you duplicates of regular charms.. while 3 silvers can get you rare ones. Also the seeds can be locked so no matter what combo you put in, you will always get the same charm. And saving before hand doesn't work. Also the shooting gallery is MUCH easier on keyboard and mouse. Doing it on console is horrendous and way more challenging. So yeah, over all the shooting gallery sucks ass and is a huge waste of time. The game has been out for like 9 months, and they still haven't fixed the horrible "RNG" in regards to the charms and coin combos.

@@cosmicbilly Charms are tied to your savedata actually (which means that you can get a limited amount of charms per game, not every single one of them) i remember i needed to restart the game 3 times to get the Striker charm which makes you move faster.
