The VS. mode is a 4 player mode with 2 game types. Slayers-which allows selection of the Merc characters with their weapons unchanged. And Survivors- which has it to where you get seldom ammo, but other weapons. The objective to both game types is to rack up as many kills as you can, much like mercs, only you can cap the other players and get points off of them as well. Oh, one last thing. There's also team modes of each game type.
