As some one who is actually an inch-ish *shorter* than Ellen, I can vouch for the fact that people just don't see you. I really notice it because I wear beanies half the year and in half of spring and all of summer people see my blonde-gold hair in front of them and will move. But if I'm in a beanie, and any sweater that is blue/dark/not bright orange or yellow or red, people don't see me in a crowd. I just *whipp* vanish. Also Jane and Andy call it a "Safety Crouch" for a reason :D (P.S. I really hope that Luke tells Ellen about the 90/180 degree snap turn so she doesn't have to ponderously turn around to run away from anything/one.)

Also small but have red, blue and purple hair, and half a dozen visible tattoos so I think that accounts for not going unnoticed most of the time. I live in Fl so even though I like beanies and hoodies, I can't wear them to stealth up or I'll die of heat stroke.
@Crisjola4 жыл бұрын
MadAlice I live in FL too! However, I'm in the north part of it so, less hurricanes, but more times out of the year where it's 50° (F) or below. I also get cold easily so it's not hard for me to find a reason to be in at least a hoodie of some sort. Really unpleasant when it's like 22 degrees outside and I'm in six layers. But yeah, I think hair color makes a huge difference. During the summer months when I'm not sporting a beanie or don't have a hood up, my hair being blonde means people bump into me *a lot* less (which is good because of bad knees) but if it's raining (and since I tend to wear dark colors anyway) and I've got a hood up and forgot to pop it down after coming indoors (especially when I'd be on campus) I might as well have been literally flying under the radar! Cool to meet a fellow OxBoxTra fan from FL! :D

Actually, Luke isn't wrong. If you sprint towards stuff in horror games, they are way less scary. Like in Alien Isolation (which is faaaaar less scary than this), if you just move around the place confidently and deal with the Xenomorph like it's a terrifyingly aggressive coworker on the station, the whole game is more like a very stressful/stealthful workplace simulator with malfunctioning androids. If you take away to power of the monster/fear, anything is way less scary. Either way, you did really good Ellen! Damn, Ellen's voice at that "She's not!" at the end there... she must have reached an octave music scholars are still debating the existence of :o

I pretty much dropped my phone every time Ellen screams from a jump scare. 10/10 for her bravery, we love you Ellen and of course you too Luke! Big hugs and cheers from Venezuela
