I love how this section shows Lucas Baker's character. On the one hand it shows how actually intelligent and calculating Lucas is under the methhead appearance and goofy accent. He knows machinery and shows a lot of skill making these elaborate death traps. But it also shows how he's kind of an idiot. What moron uses the same trap twice with 0 changes? Did it not occur to him that might not be a good idea? And why did he just leave the VHS of Clancy "solving" his puzzle lying around despite knowing Ethan was exploring the house lol.

If Clancy knew what was in the barrel, he could have used the empty balloons laying around the rooms and filled them with the oil. That way, he wouldn’t have burned to death and could’ve been able to be free (though Lucas would probably have one last game up his sleeve). Though this can be tricky, since the oil keeps coming out and seems to never end. Now, I’d have to imagine he would have enough balloons in order to empty the barrel. Since it keeps spilling out of the barrel, you would have to find a way to move the balloons away and put them somewhere safely without spilling the oil. Again, you would have to know that the barrel is contained with oil in order to use the empty balloons before you would be placed in a situation like this.

thecrackpipeisokay Get the telescope from the toilet bowl inside the bday room, wash it through the water leaks, then use it on a painting somewhere the room. The painting shows the combination of the code of the first aid box. If you want to escape the bday room, you dont have to set up the clown thing, just open the door using the code "loser", stop the leaks, and throw the bomb inside the small hole so that you can escape.

Resident Evil 7, especially in this puzzle, reminded me of Saw, a great horror game (oh and the first movies too), with macabre puzzles but now I recently played Re VIII, none of that horror I found in the game, maybe it was overshadowed by the action with werewolves and vampires, a sickening cliché! Interesting. I never saw this tape. I got stuck and just brute forced my way through the "Loser" lock by trying random words. So in the end you really only need to burn the rope on door, unlock Loser door, get valve, turn off water, then re-light candle at stove and set in cake.

Out of all the takes that they must have done for Clancy's death, was that really the best one that they had? It is a secret ending to this shit . Dont take the cork out and the password to the door is LOSER . After the cake explodes , the gasoline wont be on the ground and Clancy woudent die . Lucas in rage throwes C4 in the room but there is a space between walls and if you put the C4 there you ( Clancy ) surivives and escapes . The L from the list meanes lost or lives . And in the game you wont find ( playing as Ethan ) a burned body that is Clancy if you take the cork out 5:45 . I did this myself . You will get a secret achivment and an unknown ending .

Nah. I felt stupid for a couple minutes because of the damn code to get out the straw doll. I got everything else right. As soon as I got the code I escaped this shit in 2 mins lol.
