One of my favorite things about RE games is the pay off: when you get the OP weapon at the end to handle the final boss toe to toe. This DLC did it in the most perfect way. This triumphant theme playing as Joe picks up that gauntlet and the words 'charging' sound off just before making 4 molded your bitch and annihilating that metal barricade. *pure catharsis*

I really Love this theme. It just screams of you finally finishing the nightmare surrounding the Bakers. And that is with the help of someone who is a Baker, who knows the value of family and will do whatever it takes to save his niece from the monster that her father... his brother became. Than you find the art project of Zoe when she was but an innocent 4 year old child... the picture of a family... happy without anyone fearing the other as a monster or being one themself and realize what Joe must probably feel finding out what happened to them. It gives of the vibe of a climactic movie final where you finally end the evil and save who Ethan couldnt save.

This is the real ending. I always felt that the ending is very anticlimactic vs RE2, RE3, RE5 , CV and many others since RE is about comming really powerful at the very end and surving. This theme really gives you that catharsis of finnishing it up. Plus I don´t know the thing about the Gauntlet being a Blue Umbrella Co. weapon really gives you a shocking feeling of being resolved and ready to come to an end.

This was so epic. Such a tone shift. Struggling to defeat an enemy who keeps coming back, suffering a major setback. Then you get this crazy weapon that elevates your natural ability to a crazy level. Not to mention going back through the family home and seeing Zoe's art project of her family. It sort of reminds you of the wholesome nature of the people that once lived there and the Redemption the family needs. That Redemption being stopping the virus from burning away every piece of that family, even if you can only save one of them.

Sheer perfection. I literally applauded when this theme started to play. This DLC is the most perfect way to end RE VII and to give Jack Baker a closure. May his poor soul finally rest in Peace. And the fact that he became a "Swamp Man" is a beautiful homage to Swamp Thing. Zoe did also remind a lot of Abigail. Absolutely beautiful.
