I disagree. I feel like you didn't give the movie enough credit for its plot. How the new government offered a cease fire to the Ffighters and how she betrayed that trust forcing the ffighters to resort to using b.o.ws. How buddy changed since the lost of his Fiancee(JD explained to Leon) How the others are fighting a losing battle, even the elders recognising they've fucked up bringing b.o.ws into this war and changing sides. Leon somewhat givin a fck about others. He tried to stop Buddy from using the plaga, a request from JD. Which he failed and recognised that he did(scene where he takes a sip by the container in the third act). Ada being Ada. I think Svetlana captured Ada for questioning, doesn't make sense why she'd kill her right away imo. Yes, the third act is bloated action but that ending scene with Bud and Leon by the fountain was fcking awesome. If Damnation is bad, then all the other movies/live action adapts so far are not even worth mentioning lol.

That's fair. I know people like those characters and the story. For me it was just a lot of details to dress up the same revenge man story that all of these movies follow. It's taking itself super serious but still has a lot of goofy stuff all throughout which undercuts all of that backstory imo. The tone is a mess for me because they're trying to have it both ways so I never really cared about anyone. And when the script saves the characters that many times I just kinda check out tbh. Thanks for watching, though! I knew people would disagree but hopefully the video was entertaining lol

I don't get it, why are the Resident Evil movies so terribly bad? the cgi ones are as absurd as the live actions with the only difference that they have the original characters of the franchise.

I see~ I have to admit that out of the trilogy, this is my second least favorite because things in Damnation is complicated and boring. Nothing really made any sense to me, and things happen for the sake of things happening. Also, ugh...I am tired of the whole Leon and Ada thing, I wish they could put an end to it one way or another.
