I always see people complaining that "how are they pulling this and that off shouldn't they have injuries?" But aren't special forces type people trained to ignore things like pain to get the job done?

Sure, but this is pretty extreme for me. Im not sure any amount of training will prevent your insides from turning into soup. My suspension of disbelief only goes so far and I think RE is better when it keeps things a bit more grounded. As soon as they have the characters taking DBZ levels of injury I just check out.

Leon in Damnation is less wooden and has charm Vendetta Leon is also more expressive but that movie was shit as RE animated features go 1- Degeneration 2- Damnation 3- Infinite Darkness 4- Vendetta 1 and 2 are interchangeable. Degeneration had Leon and Claire with the classic VA's, Damnation has Leon and Ada and they fight against two supermassive Tyrants. Also LICKERS!

Yeah Leon was better in Damnation but I think something about him was still off. Vendetta makes me lol so I'm looking forward to re watching that one next. Working on the Damnation review this weekend :)

This is probably a very unpopular opinion But I prefer infinite darkness to degeneration any day and I'm not denying infinite darkness having some flaws (Specially in like some exposition and plot reveals and characters making weird choices) but degeneration really drags imo and leon is just so much better in ID

I prefer a slower pace generally but yeah it drags in the middle pretty hard. Leon, the animation, and in some cases the performances were better in ID for sure. I think overall though Degeneration executed its story better so I'd rank it a bit higher.

resident evil degeneration and damnation are good, vendetta is meh and convoluted and infinite darkness made no sense as episodes, its should had been just a full movie for what it is and really it doesnt add anything to the lore at all, very lack luster but I liked the tyrant, thats about it.
