I just love how the music perfectly conveys the journey this game provides the player. The music sounds somber throughout most of the beginning as we see Chris, Jill and Barry struggle through the journey, see how Rebecca mourns for the loss of her fellow BRAVO team members and how she's the last one, and then 1:14, the music starts to swell triumphantly as brave Richard Aiken hands over his radio which ultimately saves Chris, Jill, Barry and Rebecca by letting them know Brad is coming back to rescue them. Then the end, the music takes on a "the adventure continues" tone as the team defeats the Tyrant and escapes (but Wesker does also end up escaping too and strongr than ever before)

Underrated comment imo. It may have been a survival horror game, but this music sums it up as a journey, and ultimately a successful one that was filled with equal parts deaths, shocks, surprises and ultimately, triumphs. They survived, and you, the player, survived with them.

the remix sounds even better than the original. i just listened to it. its very short tho :( its called Ending-Last Goodbye (Akiyuki Morimoto) and you can find it on youtube because someone has uploaded the complete re7 ost. just go there, look at the description and click on the time stamp, bingo ;)

Bought the game 3 days ago, finished it 10 minutes ago. After 3 or 4 game restarts, 22.5 hours pumped into the game. Loved every second of it. It was hard, especially in the beginning, but it was good.
