This is what started it all. I read these as a child annually. Now I listen to your version annually. You don't food bud! Hey bud... I'm not sure if I'm in my place here... the right person, or the right channel... but you need to finish the S.D.Perry resident evil series. Others have tried and in my minds eyes failed. I am a bit slow at this I do admit, and I'm not sure I'll be able to finish the whole series but I do know that whether it takes me years or not I will finish City of the Dead. Loved these books as a kid. Felt like a more mature and realistic take on the game, with the characters swearing and acting more like normal people would in such a tense and horrific situation. I like the addition of Trent as well. The idea of a shady inside man working to destroy Umbrella for his own personal vendetta is really interesting. He makes a good ideological opponent for Wesker, who is also an inside man but with entirely different motivations and goals.

This is awesome. This makes me think how cool it would be if someone narrated their gameplay with all the in-game sounds and the in-game talking but instead of actually watching it, someone narrates what's happening. Imagine the very first Resident Evil with its door creaks and that walking sounds and then you edit that so that you have a story out of it. Then a narrators explains the details as it plays out

The most compelling part for me was the researcher writing his final goodbye letter to his love, telling of his fate to her. That part was very well written and how you conveyed the message, it was read with feeling and it left an impression on me.

This was my first time experiencing this book, and listening to an audio book, and I gotta say, this has spoiled me SO much and I fear that any other audio book I listen to won't be nearly as good as this was.. For one, the music, and sound effects were all amazing. The volume and mixing of them all, coupled with all the effects were simply brilliant. The narration was fantastic as well, kept me completely immersed and intrigued through and through. And the voices and impressions were great, Wesker's in particular was SO damn good, like legit on point, outstanding. On top of all that, AND this book was excellently written. I feel like each and every character was handled with so much passion, care, and thought. I really feel like this author had such a firm grasp on what made these characters so charming and likeable, and their dialogue and thoughts are genuinely so interesting to listen to. On top of all that, the additional details and such here and there were amazing, I loved getting more insight into the events of the first game and I absolutely adored all the atmospheric and enriching details, such as characters describing scents and appearances of the zombies and mutants throughout the book, as well as the scenery and environments around them. A perfectly detailed and well written book, I was genuinely so captivated the whole time. I listened to it during my shift at work, and genuinely got a bit bothered whenever people spoke to me because I was just so interested in what was going on in the story and I didn't want to be interrupted LOL. All in all, this audio book was absolutely phenomenal. The voicing, execution, sounds and music, mixing, and the actual books contents itself made my shift fly by, and even made it thoroughly enjoyable. I loved every second, and I seriously have to give credit to you, and everyone who worked on this, simply flawless work, I will definitely listen to this again sometime, and I sure hope that other audio books/fan audios are Nearly as amazing, breathtaking, and well done as this was. I am looking forward to checking out your other works, thank you SO much for this, and again, simply brilliant work!

This is really cool, the Resident Evil Podcast discord clued me in to this. Funny cause I was thinking of content for KZbin and I thought that doing an audiobook of this would be cool. Glad someone else has done it and I can say for certain, better than what I would have done!
