Also my absolute favorite!! Likewise with "Messenger" and "Drifter". And not to forget the "Rabid states "series. I've read/listened to them all several times. Scott Medbury's books are all fantastic ad very well narrated.

Alrighty then, that was one enjoyable audio. I could visualize the scenes as they were narrated. I could picture Jenny when she was speaking as well as all the other characters. Great job!!!

The best thing by far is the Fanstasic narration but it's an enjoyable story. Look forward to part 2

4 hours in. It's interesting and enjoyable. Not known yet what has caused the end of the world, following a group of summer campers and jr counselors. Enough for me to hang in with the story to see what happens. Not gory or bloody or violent 😊. Thank you for the story, and, oh yeah, it's a human narrator!

I'm also at hour 4 and I'm still enjoying it. The narration is good (and human).

3 out of 5 Stars I give this. Definitely a older teen young adult story. Story is more on the fun side of things, BUT at times PUPPY LOVE 🫤. Over all, I did like it🫣🤷🏻♂️

Almost at the end of this book and clearly the author either grew up in the big BLUE city or isn’t from the US because they crossed 6 and two half states and only found 3 guns. I could arm everyone in their group twice over without even leaving my block, and could give everyone in their group full auto suppressed rifles without leaving my city while putting them in full kit. Like I get this bug had a 99% fatality but you mean to tell me in the equivalent of 7 states they didn’t find one state police station or national guard armory they could get into? They mentioned Twin Falls Idaho I looked it up they have a national guard armory in the city and a state police station 30 minutes away in the direction of travel from Twin to Boise.

American citizens own more hand guns, rifles, and personal weaponry than the total of the global military. Everytime gun control is mentioned gun sales go through the roof lol.

When i pause and start listening again a few days later it starts playing from much earlier... KZbin is really bad for listening to audiobooks. Does anyone know why it does this?
@nae96152 ай бұрын
Just write down where you are up to maybe and then you can pick up exactly where you left off...probably not much use if you fall asleep listening to it though
@Spartan_432Ай бұрын
It does it so that when you start listening again, it plays a little of what you listened to already to refresh your mind on what last happened. So then it doesn't feel like you're missing anything.

Why didn't Nick or someone else in the group, go back and take that old woman out, that shot and almost killed Harper?They didn't even get to say the first thing to that old woman, before she shot at them!! I can't believe they just drove on!! To know that the group just left, for that woman to maybe shoot someone else, who was innocent, really makes me furious at the writer of this story!! And I was enjoying it, up to that point!

I see we have a young feminist who believe the best way to handle a crisis is to sit down and talk about their feelings; how they feel about the situation, opposed to having someone take charge to make sure everyone survive the situation.
@alexmartin31432 ай бұрын
Thanks for the heads up. Are there any new books out there without this nonsense…
@EarthAngel5042 ай бұрын
@@alexmartin3143 Not very many. Everything has become saturated with this Strong Independent super woman bs.. Adrain's Undead Diaries is a really good story. But of course, like most modern literature, there are parts where he, as a man must debase himself in comparison to women. Like for instance. When they try to make a point that a woman can protect herself. They don't just say that. They gotta talk about how she can kick a man's ass, so forth and so on. but it is kept at a minimum. It's very rare to come across as book, story or movie, or anything in media now adays where there isn't a Boss B*tch, superwoman character who can "kick most men's asses".
@Priyo8662 ай бұрын
And here we have a bunch of weak little manlets crying and whimpering in the corner about "strong wahmen bad" and seething that a book (with a protagonist) is talking about ...basic human topics like feelings, of all things?? What next, are you about to cry that a character isn't white? Or a Christian or something? It is always kinda hilarious watching these rancid incel freaks wander into comment sections of obscure videos and attempt to pollute the place though, where people like you desperately keep hoping that their cowardiy nonsense won't be noticed, called out and mocked lmao
