I think we're in the minority of enjoying the DLC. I really like all the dad stuff too and it helped flesh out Ethan more while letting us get to know Rose as a daughter you want to protect.

I dont think the DLC was all that bad. But it tied a very nice and neat bow for the Winters story ending. A small part of me mildly Hope's that we made get some references to Rose in later games, but considering how way far along she is in the timeline, we won't get much from that. It was a good story, a very short story, but a very good one nonetheless.

I just got through standard with very little issues thanks to this walk through! Amazing! I didn't do a no damage run, but I cut my time more than half and used very little ammo compared to my first run. Thank you so much for this. I got through the doll part so quickly versus the first play through for me.

Hi Carci, there are some things that maybe you already know but here they are: At 30:48 instead of shooting one of these enemies, you can stun both of them with one orb of the white sage and quickly pick the key and the bullets and run. At 32:46 after picking the compensator you can go right and into the elevator room, just melt the sclerotia return to the previous room to reset the enemy position and go to the elevator room for some free bullets. At 38:56 that enemy you can always run close to the left and he will never get you. At 41:27 I always get hit, you have to be really, really fast to melt the sclerotia and leave without getting hit. Thanks man for making these videos, these guides are very helpful.

30:48 I'm saving them for the bosses. More stun = more safety. 32:46 bullets are not necessary. 38:56, incorrect, it's not 100% consistent. Perhaps if you lock to 60fps.

First of all, i love watching your Resident Evil Runs. So fun to watch. And that Part with the dolls. Always sends shiver down my spines. I am a huge RE fan, but I waited on playing RE8 until the DLC dropped, & I've only ever played it in 3rd person, which has caused me to view the game in sort of a different light than others. It feels like a spiritual sequel to RE4 when in 3rd person & I've gotta say, I'll probably never play the game in 1st person.

i tried this DLC on my own, with NO help, on Hardcore... i made it to the Castle, got the bronze mask on my own, then, i got stuck on the Gallery puzzle.. i tried it a billion times, but i couldn't figure out that i had to go to the basement for the silver mask before i get access to the snake portrait i needed for the Gallery puzzle... i searched on here and i found your guide to be most helpful out of all the guides i found for this DLC... i really wanted to do this on my own.. i failed.... now i'm just going to follow your guide through to the end... thanks for the help, by providing this guide for noobs like me.. lol

I'm ngl this could have been an opportunity to have Sherry come back to the series as she shows or be Rose if she kept her powers and ultize them to her advantage and that it's was okay to have these powers and it's okay to give them a chance. Because inside of Resident evil we could see some parallels inside of their lives being that both of them are orphans, have some type of affiliations with umbrella by their parents, They have gotten their powers from their parents like how William gives Sherry with the parasite and Rose with the mold with Ethan. Also another where the two have estranged lives because of their situation. If I was a writer I would write Rose's powers as destructive making illusions similar to eveline powers but corresponding to her emotions but being more docile. But could've been a great opportunity or even replace K as a guide to make it be Sherry herself, as they can relate to each other much more than her and K

@@spiralgodking9877 Ikr sometimes I feel also though that they are just try to make resident evil an mythology and that how I dislike the series for trying to be cool or trying to be mainstream but not making a story that isn't connected to the general audience. I'm ngl the father and daughter relationship is cute, (is one of the things I like about the dlc)but it revolves around the whole story. There is no other connection inside of the story to make rose feel like at least safe or at home, at least have some type of relationship with her. Why don't Rose actually have a bond with Chris or even Rebecca?
