A Gold Edition of the game is available on October 28, 2022 with the Winters Expansion included which comprises 3 more additional characters to The Mercenaries (Village), 3rd person perspective and over the shoulder gameplay and new story Shadows of Rose which focuses on Rosemary Winters 16 years after the main game. Resident Evil Village, stylised as RESIDENT EVIL VII.I.AGE is a first person Survival Horror title developed by Capcom. It will be released on May 7 2021. It will be the first Resident Evil game for the ninth console generation.
Years after the events of Resident Evil 7 biohazard, Ethan Winters has started over with his wife Mia, finally living in peace and putting the past behind them. However, Chris Redfield, the legendary hero from previous Resident Evil games, suddenly disrupts their life, throwing a devastated Ethan into a new and twisted nightmare in search of answers. The story is set in an isolated mountainous region around a village and the 15th century Castle Dimitrescu, where Ethan and Mia Winters fled in the years following the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. During the events of the game, an apparent Blue Umbrella operation led by BSAA Cpt. Chris Redfield assaults the village, sending the two men on radically different paths. Capcom has since confirmed the attacker is indeed Chris, and that Ethan's story will come to a conclusion.
The game is designed in a similar manner as 2017's Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, being a first person game with Survival Horror gameplay mechanics. The enemies are currently not yet known, though one of the enemies is human with canine attributes, invoking a mutation comparable with werewolves. These enemies can hunt the player in packs to be more dangerous. Like Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, this game uses its own currency mechanic. In this case, it uses the Leu, the name of Romania and Moldova's respective currencies.

Sorry but this is like Harry Potter ( and i am not a fan of children stuff ) Some magic puts down messages wtf??? The character models look STIFF and LIFELESS....i am sorry but this is lazy and boring graphics work and the game play is also nothing new.... . in fact i would argue that RE 6 had more mobility than those character here or even in the new RE 4 remake. ( and I don't defend RE6 , i just use it as an example that at least there you could jump to the ground and shoot from there as well and roll around ) I don't understand , it has to be laziness. Just make a RE game put it out and get the money because the dumb fans buy anything we put out... this has to be the logic of them. *Its now 2022 and they still make character models that move and behave like *STIFF WOOD.* It all feels unrealistic, lifeless* ... maybe this lameness works with 14 to 16 years old but i'm a grown man i want f realism in my HORROR games. If you make A survival Horror game then you better make sure it has realism .... character movement ( running, walking, pumping into enemies or obstacles has to look REAL not the same STIFFNESS ) , weapons, monster movements, atmosphere, environment ...how about some basic crafting that you can actually use the items around you to create weapons or equipment for protection... something to get a SURVIVAL FEEL going. The duke was planned to be the secret final boss that was the one who was actually pulling the strings for resident evil village. They changed it so Miranda was the final boss but kept duke as this weird entity that had strange powers and seemed to not be scared of Miranda and laughed at any attempts to harm him if you shot at him as ethan. So it’s cool they kept him as a villain in this dlc

@@jric1231 ethan was abnormally resistant to damage and capable of healing impossible wounds because he was made of the mold. Most mold creatures when heavily damaged mutate uncontrollably to save themselves but ethan had surprising control over his form (it might have been because he didn’t know he was made of mold and the fact no one controlled him like eviline) so when Miranda took out his heart he couldn’t survive because he may be able to heal deep wounds but it appears he is unable to create new mold to heal missing parts which is why he didn’t grow a new hand or in this case a new heart. So the mold was keeping him alive but because of how the mold works in his case he still needed a new heart and was slowly dieing. He was only able to last as long as he did because of his indomitable will to save his daughter was keeping the mold together (at the end he had more control over his mold but the mold was still dieing and he only had enough control to extend his life

I got this early and all I can tell you Brad. You will be seriously amazed and touched by the hard work put into one of the longest DLC's the REsident Evil franchise has ever recieved. As you record this, my advice is to pay attention to every little detail, read through everything and try not to miss anything! Edit: Oh yeah, by chance you see this. Play it again, on your own time. It has some serious double replayability and is worth it
