This game’s features like one player controlling two characters, no item boxes and item discarded still appear on the ground are highly improved in Revelations 2 for better resources management and combat.

i think this is a fine game but i what i really hated was having to leave items on the ground, as a classic resident evil, it has backtracking but the amount of backtracking leaving items causes is INSANE. i had to beat the game using almost only pistols because i left my shotguns and grenade launcher ammo in an area that the would not let me access anymore after reaching the treatment plant, which was miserable btw. i also HATE how there are almost no invincibility frames or intangibility after getting hit, and some of the enemies in the game are straight up ruthless and will leave you getting stun locked, this is especially bad with rebecca because shes made of fucking glass. and dont forget that frog that appears on the dam that insta kills you. majority of the bosses are either just fine or straight up ass, the infected bat can eat my ass. the inventory for both characters is... very limiting and a good few of your weapons take up two of six slots which REALLY doesn't help. despite all my complaining, i actually still REALLY like this game. the atmosphere and ambience is absolutely amazing but i understand why other re fans think this is one of the worst.

Nice WT. This is where RE really went down hill (still good at this point but definitely decreasing)... Going more Anime style, the whole black goo, "pre existing natural viruses" and really pushing toxic masculinity in the franchise. I normally don't use those words (Toxic Masculinity) but Capcom went hardcore by taking every opportunity to belittle the female characters mid-late franchise. Jill would not tolerate it... so why should we :P
