Idc that this run is 5 years old, it's still a great run to watch. Both pessimism and carci are extremely well rehearsed when it comes to re games and especially in re0. Pesi is right though, re0 does not get enough love from the re speed run community, and re community in general. I actually love re0. It would be a bit nicer if like loading time to get into inventory, switching characters and the inventory movement were all improved slightly, it would be even better.

Wesker mode is boring...

Honestly, it’s way better for pacing, instead of having to drop items and retract eveywhere on normal mode. No item box really makes this game a buzzkill for running, unless you have unlimited ammo (Wesker mode for example)

I didn't think Wesker was an infected mutated monster man yet this early in the RE story.

Yeah, it's just a bonus mode after beating the game, fan service to play as Wesker. His abilities are based on RE5 Wesker, which would be around 10 years later in the story.

Love watching these runs, I watched the whole Code Veronica speed run by Pessimism. However, doing this run in Wesker mode and infiinite ammo? That is pushing it. In the Code Veronica one, you just did the training manual glitch to get explosive arrows which saved a ton of time, and just like in this game you are using Japanese for the fast text, and in the other Resident Evils 1-3 and Code Veronica, the American versions are harder, is that the same with the zero remake? Is the American version harder?

I think I remember Pessimism saying on a stream that he was sick during one of his trips to GDQ. Plus, this was definitely a late night run.
