Founded in 1994 by Goldie, Kemistry and Storm, Metalheadz is responsible for some of drum & bass's most important moments and tracks. To celebrate 30 years of the label, Goldie will perform live across the UK and Europe this summer, with support from drummers Adam Betts and John Blease, bass synthesist Dan Nicholls, James Davidson (aka Submotive) on electronics, vocalist Natalie Williams and multi-instrumentalist and director Matt Calvert. The man himself put it best: "Flick the switch and head to the stars-it’s going to go off."

Make no mistake, they are equals. No two drummers on Earth could match hi-hat syncopation at these tempos, but the fact that both drummers combine to sound like the precision of programmed breaks is incredibly high level... especially since they're playing to a click track in their ear, which is way harder than you think it is. James Brown's drummers had an easier time than these two genii.
