How can one guy be this good and have such an understanding of electronic music/production AND also complete a PhD in neuroscience?! How are some people so productive at such a high level?!
@naishkiteboarder5 жыл бұрын
Neural signal processing involves a lot of the same concepts as sound synthesis. Basically electrophysiology, analyzing the number and the frequency of spikes in neurons and what not is the same as analyzing sound. So the two fields certainly overlap
@naishkiteboarder5 жыл бұрын
Maybe we can ask him to hook up a mouse with an electrode in its brain to an amplifier and then into a synth
@seathru12325 жыл бұрын
@@naishkiteboarder That's exactly what I do. I'm doing a Ph.D. in Neuroscience and producing electronic music. I often record brain signals from rats and men, and I send them into synths and DAWs. The results are stunning! The brain is probably the most powerful synth

Max Cooper is another one of these wizards with a quality degree and a deep understanding of electronic music. A high level ability to think translates well into different fields simultaneously.

Exactly this!
@urmumsbaps4 жыл бұрын
Not really sure it's relevant considering many of electronic music's most innovative pioneers didn't have degrees, or considering that Max Cooper isn't really that exciting (his visuals are what set him apart, his music isn't particularly deep)
