Residential Plastics Collection- FKF Zrt.

Here is one of FKF Zrt.'s Iveco Stralis 300's with a Stummer Medium XL-EVO press, taking care of a plastics/metals route. Plastics/metals, or yellow lidded bin, collection in the city of Budapest, is something I have been wanting to film for a little while now. After being turned down for filming in previous attempts, I was finally able to find a crew that was alright with me getting some videos.
This was filmed in a residential area, where in addition to having a 120L or 110L bin for mixed waste collected weekly, most homes have two 120L bins for recycling, collected monthly. One with a yellow lid used for plastics and metal, and one with a blue lid used for paper and cardboard.
Overall, the recycling stream seems to be fairly clean which is always nice to see. Monthly collection is pretty much unheard of in the U.S., it was definitely cool to see it here. A big thank you goes out to the super nice crew for allowing me to follow along and record for a little. Enjoy!
