Resin Art for Beginners. Resin Clutch Purse Tutorial

Thanks for watching and hopefully subscribing to my channel. This project will show you how to create this beautiful Resin Clutch Purse using the Resin Purse Mold and Frame. This Custom Clutch Purse was fun and simple to create.
Material needed:
America's Best Resin A&B
Resin Clutch Mold ( Aliexpress)
Green Purse Handle (AliExpress)
Acrylic paint or Mica Powders for colors
PVC Transparent Sheet Roll (Amazon.com) by RD Gardens. Sorry I don't know how to include the actual link t the product, however you can look it up on Amazon.
Mixing cups for each color choice
Mixing wood sticks
Gloves
Torch Lighter
Fix All Glue or E6000 Adhesive
Resin Heater (optional)

I love this color! You have the best videos on making resin clutches that I’ve found on KZbin. I ended up making the “money bag” clutch, and so far it looks really cool. I still have to go back in and pour some clear over the pieces to smooth out the roughness of the shredded money. Also, I don’t know if you’ve ever used Maribu Rainbow in your resin before, but I definitely recommend it. I use a couple of drops of it in almost all the clear resin I pour to give the pieces a slight shimmery sparkle that doesn’t distract from the rest of the design. Goo gone helps clean the scissors. You can also buy Titanium bonded blades Scissors: Coating with Non-stick teflon. I got mine from Amazon

Can I use a blow dryer to spread the different resin colors the way I want? Or will the blow dryer cause it to cure too quickly?

The heat from a hair dryer should be fine since it’s not as hot as a heat gun. Just be careful about moving the resin too much because there isn’t much wiggle room at the top of these molds. I’ve accidentally blown resin over the sides of different molds more times than I’d like to admit, and it’s a mess to clean up. 🤦🏽‍♀️ 😂 I hope this helps! ✌🏼💜🛼

@@cityonahill171 You're very welcome. I've been working with resin on tumblers for almost a year, and it's still a bit intimidating for me too. Resin can be SOOOO finicky! I actually had to stop making tumblers over the summer because the humidity where I live wasn't allowing the resin to cure properly. It's still pretty fun to work with though. Messing up is all part of learning new things, so just jump in and get started. You can do this! ✌🏻💜🛼

You can use a small resin heater from Amazon, they are only $24 or so and works well. Also watch the video for the Resin necklace for special tips on how to create less bubbles in your Pours. Its a great tip I have added to my process... thanks again.

@@POWERPROJECTSwithKiaPee Very true about the blow dryer! If I'm just trying to get a little movement, I use an old curling brush blow dryer thing that the brush part broke off of. It's more similar to an embossing heat gun than a real blow dryer. But, as you know, resin is gonna do what resin wants to regardless of how we try to manipulate it. It just keeps moving on its own until it can't move anymore. I love that I never know exactly what it will look like when it's cured. I can't wait to see what you have coming up next! I have a lot of bubblegum beads, and I wanna try to make a strap/handle with some after seeing your beaded handle. ✌🏻💜🛼
