I knew Dave would prevail!!! Neighbors are so strange. One of mine spends a whole day with a leaf blower cleaning in between the gaps in our fence to blow the webs and bugs to my yard. I sit and watch. When he peeks… I wave. 🤷🏻‍♀️ My weekends are getting some painting done at my daughters home. Then Sundays I relax and cook a nice dinner so my grandkids can go to bed early for school. I love when Finn is happy. 😂 That was nice of the neighbor saying how impressed with you she was and that she’d hire you. I’m happy Maureen raked in. So fun .😂 I love Salt and Vinegar!!!❤ Have a great weekend Dave.

What a day on Saturday Mowed the lawn, repaired the rear gate handle, needed 4 new bigger screws, as the timber is rotting. Strengthened two new yard brushes Called down to church parish rooms to look at a radiator, couldn't remove cover as bolt span around and around, cut head off, saw the pressed nut on bracket was broken off. Plumber removed leaking radiator. Removed bracket, extracted the cut bolt remains, repaired the nut that was cross threaded, fitted the nut back to the bracket, fitted bracket to wall, refitted the radiator cover. Waiting for the plumber to come back and fit new radiator. What a day of unexpected repairs.

Blocks round a corner Dave are a PITA! What I tend to do is lay the blocks out and get an even gap and then measure it. If it's les than an inch then I measure the angle, half it and cut that angle on both sides of the block (it's easier than you think if you lay about 4 down on a board, lay a 3x2 on and screw it down to clamp them and if you lay the 3x2 on the angle line then you can run the saw along it in no time... then repeat for other side). That way you get really good tight joints. If the gap is greater than 1" though then you cut away too much block so I just cut pizza slices to fit the gap... You did a good job though, as usual! P.S. Maureen is a sweetheart, glad she's getting much love from the viewers! Chelsea too!

I layout the blocks and eyeball the gaps. Mostly I cut 1/2 to 3/4 of the gap on both sides of the block. With a 7'' tile cutting table it goes quick. For bigger jobs, measure and cut. I never use fill pieces because it just looks like amateur hour. They don't look right unless they're pretty big.

Cut that pineapple in the right place and you can regrow it.

As for this weekend I temporarily borrowed a pump truck from our tool hire at work so I could move my shed out, as my late dad and I built it ourselves but designed the bottom so I could get a pump truck under for when I needed to repaint it 👍🏼 so moved that out gave it a fresh kick of paint or two and got it back in that was quite enough for this weekend, have a good week team

You going to have to get that pizza - sounds great. Stevie - I worked on a massive BBQ trailer this weekend- customer used it, then filled the tanks then went to do a function serving 500 guests - but the BBQ wouldn't work so they had to scramble to rent some. This trailer can cook 1200 burgers at once and has a pig roaster on the back. All self contained with water tanks, sink, stereo etc. Who would put a post in the ground less than 2 inches? Have a great trip Dave, enjoy! Stevie great job on the brick work, Finn too! Too bad about the shower. Looks awesome. Our business needs some care packages like those, it seems we don't get anything like that here - WE ARE JEALOUS!😞😉
