Going to try your method for the dish soap bubble pattern. Using just UV resin as my base shrunk the resin. Also didn’t know the water to soap ratio untilI watched your video. I have a number of plain old resin coasters just sitting around. You gave me ideas to spruce them up!

That is so so so beautiful:) And you are so creative, and you have a lovely voice to listen to, very calming :) I tried it just now in my shed (which is now a mini coaster factory !), just the first step of the uv resin tinted black, but it had many small bubbles so i need to practice my bubble control :)

Can you do this technique with regular resin and not uv?
@teaandart3 жыл бұрын
Hi thankyou so much for watching. No I am afraid you need U.V resin as the regular resin don't settle quick so the bubbles can't create the effect if you get me .

Beautiful as they are; but I see the "cells" as a quasi-shadowbox. Judiciously adding elements to suggest a theme or strange story. Crystals, tiny graphics, natural fragments, polymer mini textures... I used to be heavily involved w. miniature dolls and dollhouses! Thank you for this awesome technique!!

great tutorial...thanks whats an alternate to UV resin and light?...can normal clear epoxy resin b used and letting it dry as usual
@teaandart2 жыл бұрын
Thankyou so much normal resin will not hold shape by the time it dries the bubbles effect will vanish so UV is a must for this.
@karenlloyd169 ай бұрын
Stunning!! Just wondering if the top coat was UV resin as well?
@teaandart9 ай бұрын
Thank you so much no it was normal Epoxy but you can use UV resin.
@nuritgranot6796 Жыл бұрын
It's really amazing! By the way, I also have the same resin you use. I was very disappointed when I received it because it smells very bad and also dries with difficulty and remains sticky. How do you solve this problem?
@mariamanser60012 жыл бұрын
I love this technique and have tried a few times. I add the mica powder with a brush, I blow away any excess. But as soon as I add the top coat the mica just floats. Any advice you can give me would be very much appreciated. Thank you 😊

Dude! This is fucking awesome! And I know all Resin videos look easy to do (which, haha, no) but this legit looks like an easy way to get that texture without too much hassle!

Can we make this effect with crystal clear epoxy resin or this effect is possible with just uv resin?
@teaandart6 ай бұрын
I am afraid you need a UV resin as the normal Epoxy will not create the design as it cures in hours.

@@teaandart ok I will try it out then, let's see what's gonna happen... 2:1 takes 12 to 24 hours. .Anyhow the good thing is we can atleast give it a try

Hi shalina i tried this today-total fail😢 i used a india made dishwashing liquid gel (as this is what i use) not dishwashing liquid soap so do you think that was the problem?? My bubbles melted immediately after i put on the uv resin and the few that remained became water when i put under the uv light. Would appreciate your expert advice so i can buy liquid soap if i have to. I cant buy dawn or any other foreign brand here so have to make do with what i get. Thanx
