I am watching this a second time. These are all so beautiful! I do the same, plan on doing a certain technique (making pottery), and end up in a different direction. It actually is fun for things to go different. I sure appreciate you explaining things as you go and what you are thinking. It really helps me understand. Thank you for sharing your talent!

They are all beautiful on both sides! The weight of the gold is what pushes everything else away. Acrylic painters, doing pouring, knows exactly what I mean, because the weight of the color decides the outcome. You can have 10 cl of both, but because of the color particles weight, some colors are much heavier. If you want more control you need to know each colors weight, but generally all metals and white is the heaviest ones so they will sink through the other colors. I think they look great and you should be proud!

The blue dragon scale is def my fave. I'm not into gold, but for people who are I think they will love the geode coasters. The effect is beautiful even when it's not what you were aiming for. And I love that you posted the video anyway.

I love the gold..it’s really hard to get gold that doesn’t look kitsch…but I think the blue softened them perfectly. They are very subtle.

I like them a lot. I think the trick is to have the resin a bit set up so it doesn’t move about as much. Gold seems super heavy and that may be why it took over. I like them all. They look like stained glass. I love the blue ring on the gold pens.

Paint a Dragon Eye on the backs in the clear middle with nail polish or paint and recoat with resin. Would look soooooo cool!!
