Absolutely amazing. They all made almost the same composition on the top but when you turned them over they were so different. Great experiment. Stunning

So what gives it the Dragon effect? The colors you used?
@tazminmoore4553 жыл бұрын
These are so cool and unusual 😀😍. A friend went hunting around on KZbin and found Dragon Scale coasters. She loves them and asked me if I could make her some. I've never done them before but said I would have a go at some point. Is it necessary to have liquid pigments? I have powders and pastes and a couple of resin tints, but no liquid pigments.
@suzanadancks3 жыл бұрын
Well you've come to the right place for dragon scale effects, hehe. I created these effects accidentally and they went viral..lol. Ok so tints will work as they are the same as my liquid pigments but you don't have to use tints. As long as you have a transparent colourant like a paste, a mica pigment and top up with clear resin from the middle. I have several videos demonstrating this technique so best have a look and have a go. Your friend is right, you will be fine 🙂

I can never get this one technique to work for me I don’t know what I’m doing wrong . I usually use a mica and an opaque white pigment paste but I get nothing :( doesn’t even move to close in the center :(
