I had no idea you could make moulds from shrink plastic, that's brilliant! The resulting jewllery looked very delicate and the lovely colours enhanced them too.

Did the same thing with shrink once, trying to make it curve and make it bending. Was really difficult. Now that is an idea!!

that is so amazing... never thought to use shrink plastic like this.. opens up a whole new crafting experience!!

Most definitely… I use shrinky dinks to make ear rings and key fobs, then coat them in resin to protect them… never would have thought to make molds with them! And definitely opens up a whole new world of creativity for me! I have been trying to find molds of miniature alphabet letters for nail art that actually work … every one I have tried, the resin sticks to the mold and ruins it… so, I think I will try printing out letters on some shrinky dink films I have and then mix up some silicone mold making mats and see if I can make my own miniature letter molds like this!

This is so cool. I was thinking about using cricut for cutting shrinking plastic to mold but not sure if it will work but now I know it will. Thanks for sharing this beautiful tutorial as always 👍🏽

Love watching you! You are so creative. You make it look easy. What is the name of the metal block and where can you get one from?
@sandrartes2 жыл бұрын
Thank you April! 🥰 The block is called “dapping block” for jewelry. You can find it easily at Amazon or at shops that sell jewelry tools :) If you can’t find it let me know and I’ll post something similar on my Amazon page :)
