Uv resin is not more expensive. I just did 50 acrylic keychains using uv resin that I got from Amazon. The bottle completed all keychains and I only paid $10.99. Regular resin runs from $25-$60.

Both LED and UV nail lamps emit UV wavelengths and work in the same way. And yes i think you can use it for curing. On the other hand, i use torch to pop the air bubbles in the resin. ☺️

Yes, you can use a regular epoxy resin and hardener but it will just take time to cure. On the other hand, UV lamp is only necessary if you are using a UV resin. ☺️
